PURINA VETERINARY DIETS UR is a complete veterinary diet for cats with  Urinary Tract Conitions. PVD Feline UR is specially formulated to help dissolve struvite urinary crystals and stones and helps reduce the risk of urinary stones recurring (struvite and calcium oxalate). It can also help nutritionally manage feline iodiopathic cystitis by increasing water intake and encouraging the production of dilute urine. PVD UR contains nutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids and natural sources of glycosaminoglycans which help support the health of the urinary tract.

Note that PVD UR is not suitable for pregnant queens, growing kittens and cats with chronic kidney disease. If in doubt, please consult your veterinary surgeon.

  • Promotes the production of under-saturated urine, reducing the risk of struvite and calcium oxalate crystal formation
  • Promotes an optimum urine composition that helps to dissolve struvite stones
  • Moderate levels of fat and calories to help maintain ideal body weight (obesity being a risk factor for FLUTD)

Avoiding fat cat club at vets!!!

by -

My cat is a little (a lot) overweight and has suffered bouts of cystitis at time. On the advice of vet I am trying this product. To soon to notice any weight loss yet but she does enjoy the food.
