PURINA VETERINARY DIETS EN is a highly palatable complete veterinary diet to help manage gastrointestinal and liver conditions in cats of all ages, including kittens. Intestinal disorders are frequently associated with poor digestion, which may worsen symptoms, so PVD EN contains selected highly digestible ingredients in order to help reduce the workload on the compromised gut and to minimise the amount of nutrients that are not absorbed and remain in the gut.  It also contains a limited number of protein sources to help minimise any food reactions. PVD Feline EN contains prebiotics and omega-3 fatty acids to help promote a healthy intestinal environment, and is low copper to minimise the risk of liver damage.

Note that some types of liver disease require a low protein diet such as PVD NF. If your cat has liver disease, please check with your veterinary surgeon which PVD diet is the most appropriate.

Use Feline EN up to 12 weeks for absorptive intestinal disorders and until restoration is achieved for nutritional restoration and convalescence. In order to optimise digestive function the daily intake should be divided into several small meals. It is recommended that a veterinarian's opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use. For kitten feeding guidelines, check the daily portion calculator. Water should always be available. Wet formula also available. When feeding dry and wet can, for each addition of 1/3 Feline EN Wet can, reduce by 15g dry kibble.
