PURINA VETERINARY DIETS EN is a highly palatable complete veterinary diet to help manage gastrointestinal and liver conditions in cats of all ages, including kittens. Intestinal disorders are frequently associated with poor digestion, which may worsen symptoms, so PVD EN contains selected highly digestible ingredients in order to help reduce the workload on the compromised gut and to minimise the amount of nutrients that are not absorbed and remain in the gut. It also contains a limited number of protein sources to help minimise any food reactions. PVD Feline EN contains prebiotics and omega-3 fatty acids to help promote a healthy intestinal environment, and is low copper to minimise the risk of liver damage.
Note that some types of liver disease require a low protein diet such as PVD NF. If your cat has liver disease, please check with your veterinary surgeon which PVD diet is the most appropriate.
- Low residue (high digestibility): easy-to-digest ingredients to help reduce gut workload and minimise non-absorbed nutrients
- Limited number of protein sources to minimise adverse gastrointestinal reactions
- Added prebiotics (inulin) to help improve microbial balance and stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria
- With ST/OX for urinary security: formulated to help minimise the risk of FLUTD (urinary disease)

Daily feeding guide: see table on packaging. Use Feline EN for 1 to 2 weeks during periods of recovery from acute diarrhoea and /or until recovery is complete. The formula also provides complete and balanced nutrition for kittens: from 6-12 weeks of age, feed 20-80 g moistened with water, then until one year of age feed 50-100 g, gradually reducing the added water. In order to optimise digestive function the daily intake should be divided into several small meals. It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use. Water should always be available.
