PURINA VETERINARY DIETS HA is a complete hypoallergenic veterinary diet for the diagnosis and management of food allergies in cats of all ages, including kittens. Some cats may suffer from food allergy, which can cause skin discomfort  and/or digestive upsets. PVD HA is a true hypoallergenic diet formulated with protein that has been broken down (hydrolysed) into very tiny components that are too small to cause an allergic reaction, and a purified carbohydrate source. Such hydrolysed diets are recognised as the best type of food to use during an 'elimination diet trial' when trying to diagnose (or rule out) food allergy. During such a trial it is important that your cat is fed no other food or treats. PVD HA is also useful for cats with severe bowel disease such as IBD as it is highly digestible.

  • kDa Hydrolysed: Single hydrolysed protein with low molecular weight to help avoid allergic reponses
  • Purified Carb: Purified carbohydrates to help avoid allergic responses
  • Greate Taste: A great taste thanks to high quality ingredients and appetite booster
  • Complete dietetic pet food for kittens and adult cats for the reduction of ingredient and nutrient intolerances, formulated with hydrolysed protein sources, selected carbohydrate sources and appropriate combination of the essential nutritional characteristics.

Hypoallergenic Cat Food which really works!

Quality and respected brand which lives up to it. Bought for one of my cats on vets advice due to having digestive issues. Now both of my cats will not eat any other dried food. Assisted in the improvement of my cats health.

Great product and customer service.

We have recently started using this cat food to try and combat what seems to be skin allergies in our little girl cat. This was recommended by our vet, and after a couple of months it seems to be doing a great job, as there have been no more skin issues. We are very happy with the product, and Vetshop did a great job at sorting out a delivery (Hermes) issue we had with a damaged package, with a speedy replacement. Many Thanks.

Good Product

It's very hard to review something like this but I'll give it a go! Was advised by the vet to put one of my cats on a hypoallergenic diet due to some stomach issues she has and this has seemed to, and continues to, help. I've also now put all 3 on it as it's easier to have them all eating the same as they are grazers and I've had no issues with the others. All 3 seem to enjoy it! Service from Petshop.co.uk is also wonderful, I have this on the bottomless bowl subscription so I don't need to worry about running out.

Very good product when treating IBD in cats I also am feeding my other cats (as they all eat together) the same food with no ill effects. It is a bit pricey but it does the job
The company’s service was good
Delivery was a bit slow but due to the present Coronavirus situation not to bad

Great food for allergies, great price

by -

This food is the only one that doesn’t cause my cats allergies to flare up.
I order this using the ‘bottomless bowl’ system-it’s a fantastic price and delivery is always prompt

Great value for special food

by -

My cat is allergic to EVERYTHING and this is the only food he likes. My other cat likes it too (even though he has no allergies!) would recommend.

Great quality, but a little slow on delivery

by -

I buy this regularly for my cats, due to space constraints I leave the re-ordering to just a few days before I run out. I received an e-mail two days after I had ordered saying that there was going to be a delay unless I replied with 'urgent' in the subject line. I did this and I did get a response, so customer service was good, but the item still arrived about 7-8 days after I had ordered. It's not a complaint, just that the way things are these days, I guess... we just get used to receiving our deliveries within 1-2 working days.

Good price

Great price as i have many free feeding and 3 with allergies so easier to feed it to them all initially. They seem to love it too!
Too early to say if its helping the allergy issue
