Hill's Metabolic is always recommended by our vet for our overweight cat and he loves it. It is far from the cheapest weight loss or weight maintenance cat food on the market but one which he never turns his nose up at and does help him lose weight albeit slowly.

Was prescribed this by the vet for my overweight chubster of a cat. He enjoys them and has lost some weight. He does complain for more but that's cats for you!! This is the cheapest I've found this cat food anywhere.

My cats are a little bit overweight so my vet advised me to get Metabolic cat food. I purchased this along with the metabolic wet food and am pleased to say it is working. My little furries don't keep begging me for food anymore as this seems to fill them up. The service from Petshop was brilliant, fast and very reasonable and I am glad I found them as I shall be purchasing from them again.

I bought this cat food as my cat needs to lose weight, I was to begin with hesitant about it as my cat has a sensitive tummy, but I am pleased to say that she loves it and has had no tummy problems since being on it, and has started to lose weight!! I would defiantly recommend this food and it is a lot cheaper than buying from the vets!

We had a very large cat snap who was 7kg who is now on he's way too he's target weight of 5.4kgs thanks to hills metabolic biscuits the best I tried.

This is the only dry cat food I could buy that actually helped my cat lose weight. I tried others with no success. This was the one my vet recommended when another leading brand did not work. I think they are a reputable make although I haven’t really researched well into the quality. But it lasts long and keeps my cat full. It does take a bit of time to lose especially if they are eating elsewhere but after the first bagful he lost 200gms which for him was good because he lost nothing on the other ones I tried. I would recommend giving it a go. Pet shop delivered this quickly and smoothly with no problems.

I am currently weaning my fat cat off his dental cat food and onto the Metabolic food. I mixed the two together and of course Theo eats the dental stuff first as it’s what he knows best. However when only the Metabolic is left in the bowl and nothing else is forthcoming, he chows down. Once he is totally on Metabolic, life will get tough and I am hoping for great results. He need to lose a kilo.
