Great product. Great service

by -

My border collie wolfs down Canagan dry food and particularly likes salmon. Fairly priced and very speedy delivery.

Great for coat and nails

by -

We have 2 Romanian Rescues who's coats were dull and matted and nails were cracked and brittle. We started them off on a cheap dog food as advised by the rescue, due to their stomachs not being used to good food, then slowly we added in the Canagan till it was all Canagan. Their costs are shiny, their nails are stronger and their stools more regular and firmer. Yes this is more expensive but our pooches deserve the best

A consistently quality product

by -

I have been buying Canagan grain free dog food for my labrador since he was about 6 months old. Having established at an early age that foods containing too high a grain content badly upset his stomach. We tried several other cheaper brands first, including one from the vet, but none of them sat well with him. As soon as we tried Canagan it was an instant fix! yes it is pricey compared to some others, but the quality is consistent, he always enjoys it, and his poop is as it should be! What more can i ask?? I have just switched to petshop.co.uk from my local big name pet store - price is the same, but i get free delivery and the option for a 'bottomless bowl' is an excellent option. Very happy thank you guys - especially as delivery was quoted as 2 weeks during the corona lockdown, but came much quicker than that. excellent job!

Good food but hugely expensive

by -

Good food for sensitive dogs wish it didn’t have potatoes in it but my dogs have grain allergies so I find it really hard to give them something good to eat that hasn’t got grain in it also price is really expensive hence rating 4

Fantastic Stuff, the ONLY food I'd feed my dog.

by

Before we got our Lab I did a lot of research into dog food knowing that, like children, dogs health and behaviour are heavily impacted by it. Reviews show Canagan rates really highly among professionals (on par with Orijen). Meat/fish percentages are high, its grain free & the ingredients list contains only things I've heard of, my theory being if I don't know what it is why would I feed it to my dog? We started out on the chicken version, but switched to salmon. Our Lab loves it and has never left a single piece in 18 months (normal I know!). His black coat is super thick & shiny, often attracting comments on walks. He's well behaved and hasn't chewed anything in the house other than toys (helped by lots of exercise). When we have had friends dogs over who are more fussy they are far more interested in Canagan than their dinner. This is certainly not the cheapest food out there, but owning a dog is never a cost saving exercise! I like the brand ethic, I wouldnt switch.

3 Months On This Food Has Made A Difference

by

My dog ( english bull terrier ) has had skin issues , feet issues and ear issues. Since been grain free i haven't had any of these issues.

Canagan Scottish Salmon

Excellent product, our Cocker Spaniel is allergic to any rice or cereal.so this is perfect. She loves it and clears her dish every time. I also use the kibbles as her treats to be sure I'm not giving her anything that might contain cereal. Have also used the Chichen which she again loves. Great product.

Boxer Loves It

by

We put our Rocky on this after advice at a shop. He was on Applaws which had helped with what we thought was food allergy. Possibly from grains that helped but after trying this for another food change his eyes got back to how they were before the problems started. He enjoys it, his poohs are good and with medication for other allergys feel we are actually getting somewhere now.

Great

by

My JRT had been suffering for months (after being in kennels) with an upset tummy. I had him on a VERY expensive dried food and then had the offer of a trial of this. He loved it, woofed it down (excuse the pun) and his poo the next day was great - firm and well formed. Will be trying some more soon.
