PURINA VETERINARY DIETS EN is a highly digestible complete veterinary diet to help manage gastrointestinal, pancreatic and liver conditions in dogs of all ages, including puppies. Intestinal disorders are frequently associated with poor digestion, which may worsen symptoms, so PVD EN contains selected highly digestible ingredients in order to help reduce the workload on the compromised gut and to minimise the amount of nutrients that are not absorbed and remain in the gut. PVD Canine EN is low fat, which is particularly important for dogs with pancreatic problems, and contains a type of fat that is easier to digest and absorb. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids and soluble fibre (prebiotics) to help promote a healthy intestial environment, and helps reduce copper absorption to minimise the risk of copper accumulation.
Note that some types of liver disease require a low protein diet such as PVD NF. If your dog has liver disease, please check with your veterinary surgeon which PVD diet is appropriate.

It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use. Recommended length of time for use: 3 to 12 weeks, but lifetime in case of chronic pancreatic insufficiency.
