Pro Plan Neutered Vital Functions Salmon Dry Cat Food - 3kg By Pro Plan

My cat absolutely adores this. From the 1st time I put it in his bowl to the last pouch, he didn't move his bum until it was completely polished off, which is unlike Enzo as he's usually a grazer. Needless to say he finished the entire lot and I shall have to inject this food into his usual diet.

We actually have 3 cats, fed a combination of wet and dry food, although this food is not expensive than the usual dry food that e give them they are more content. One of the cats haven't vomited after eating it and the cats are not constantlt fussing for more food on the day time. The kibble is small so there is no problem in the cats if any age (ranging from 12years to 7 months) from gobbling it down and leaving nice clean bowls

It was unfortunately no longer resealable after he got his tiny teeth into it. That and the fact that we found him chomping away at the food through the new sizeable hole he'd made, makes it 5 stars for taste. He has not had stinky poops since eating this food (so 5 stars for smell too) which he can sometimes get with a new brand. He is also as energetic and playful as ever, so 5 stars for nutrition. So far, Pro Plan, you've been a Pro-plan indeed!

Since the moment we have got the bag she has loved the food. She had been off her food before hand but that is gone with this. She’s eating more and is showing in her mood. She seems a happier cat on it. I’ve also noticed as well that coat has a nice glossy shine to it and feels amazing to touch. I honestly never believed a food could make such difference but it has. We will be looking to carry on using the food once it’s come to an end as it’s such a high quality product.

The products is great! I have a 2 year old cat who is very fussy when it comes to food. It normally takes her a few weeks before she get used to a new type of food but with Purina she was munching happily straight away. That alone gets it 5 stars. Her fur is shiny and issues with the toilet so we couldn’t be happier. Definitely recommend to any fussy cat owners!

My cat absolutely loved this food to the point ,whilst watching TV one night we heard a rustling and found our cat with his head stuck in the top of the bag ! He left his bowl empty at every meal when usually he will leave some to come back to . He has been noticeably more relaxed lately and is very eager for meal times .The bag was resealable which is useful although our cat did learn how to break the seal on it . The only downside for me is the price of the food . I couldn't afford to buy this every month on top of our dog food etc . It is a very premium priced product which is a shame as I would love for my cat to be able to continue with this food .

My cat is a very fussy eater and definitely knows what she likes! From the moment I opened the bag she was trying to get into it and from the first taste she kept coming back for more. This will be added to the shopping list for sure

My nearly 3 year old boy cat loves this. There was absolutely no hesitation in trying a new food. He was sniffing the bag as I was opening it, it handily presses shut again, and dived straight in. I only gave him a small portion to start with to see if he'd like it but he was adamant that he needed his normal portion size. Head down, bum down, a very happy cat munching away. I've just discovered the useful handle on the side which pouring easier as well. Very well thought out. A 3kg bag feels like it will last a long time as well. Impressed. A few weeks in and he shouts when his bowl is empty!

This food is great, it's perfect for a neutered indoor cat who needs a bit of calorie control. Eddie is a big lad, but this seemed to satisfy his quite large appetite. He came running as soon as the parcel arrived, enjoyed rubbing himself against the packaging and then took full advantage of the new box to sleep in. When we opened the bag for feeding time that evening, he ran for the bowl and expressed his pure joy at the food. It is high quality, smells pretty good (for cat food) and seemed to be highly palatable. In Eddie's own words: "Meow, meow, me-ow, ow, ow" and then he went on to lick himself clean in his post-dinner routine.

We have the most picky little girl. She flatout refuses to eat anything that's not kibble (as opposed to our other cat who eats everything - including hair ties *facepalm*) and it has been really difficult to find good food for sterilised cats. We have really struggled, as they are indoor cats and she can get a bit podgey, but she didn't want to try any sterilised foods. She is absolutely hoovering this up, I don't even think she chews it at all and it just gets inhaled by her. absolutely brilliant. And on top of that, it doesn't stink like most kibbles do, it weirdly smells of tea which is quite a bit more pleasant and not as invading on the old nostrils.

Good quality food. My cat was rescued from Cats Protection and they use Proplan. I felt that although slightly more expensive it was worth continuing feeding the same and she loves it

I have been using Pro Plan for years. It's the only dry product my cats will eat, and it doesn't upset their tummies!

Got a bag of this to trial, since introducing it too my cat I've noticed his coat and skin are looking better and he has more energy.

My cat has a new lease of life! She seems more alert and full of life she has a gorgeous shiny coat this food really does wonders for her, she seemed to enjoy it so much too

Smells fishy but not disgusting. Cat can be fussy but loved this, he wanted to bite the bag open when I first got it. He seems so much brighter and with a lot more energy. Lovely shiny coat.

You need to be careful with the bag as easy to rip too far so I keep mine in a container. Good job as she would steal it

As soon as I opened this bag my cat started going crazy when I poured some in his bowl he was wolfing it down as if I had given him a treat. He's been going to the toilet regularly and it's not been as smelly. Can safely say if my cat Crumpet could speak he would tell you this is delicious.

Very picky cat that I have spent a fortune on only for her to turn her nose up at it. I was worried as she doesn’t usually like anything salmon but she dived in straight away and still some weeks later she is tucking in. Good quality and price and a happy cat

Thanks to Purina Optisenses my cat started to eat dry food again. She have find her new dry food as tempting that she is happy to eat it even instead of treats. If she refuses to eat her usual wet food I just sprinkle some Optisenses on the top and the food immediately becomes delicious for her. This trick even helps me to save money – no more cat food waste. Purina Optisenses is the right dry cat food for us. I love even the bag, because it has an extra holder on the side so it is easier and more punctual to pour. I do not end up with dry cat food everywhere. One more plus point for the resealable grip, which keeps dry food completely fresh and full of aroma. My cat refuses to eat old cat food without tempting aroma. I am so happy, because my cat is more active since she eats Optisenses daily. She enjoys her life and indoor cat toys, she plays with us more often and sleeps less. Even her eyes are remarkably more lively.

The second I opened the bag my cats screamed and ran around in circles, thats how good it smells. The 19% salmon content is obvious as it smells of Salmon but in a pleasant way and my cats absolutely love it. They now go to the Pro Plan Optisenses over the wet food they also had in addition to their old dry food. I can also see a difference in their appearance and energy levels. I will be continuing to be Opitsenses now as although it may cost slightly more than other brands its worth it in the long run as less is more and they are getting a better balanced diet.
