When she was six year old, our Rottie suddenly started bringing back up water. Following diagnosis of food allergies at the Royal Dick near Edinburgh she was prescribed Z/D. She is now 10 years old and in great health. Initially she was only fed Z/D dry but we felt that a bit of a variation would be better hence we supplement with Z/D tins. After 4 years exclusively, she still has an appetite for Z/D so it is literally a life saver for her.

Top quality but very expensive. Vet recommended we put our boy on this diet to control his skin allergy. Suppose if it resolves his issues, every cloud as they say.

Our lab has been recommended this diet whilst his allergy is under investigation. The food seems very superior to his old food and he loves it, however the downside is that it is extremely expensive. My monthly order is £170.00 and on top of his vets fees and ongoing hematoma issue, it's starting to become very expensive

After battling with colitis for over a year we were advised to try this food as it became clear that our dog could not tolerate protein. With this food hydrolysing the protein it disguises it meaning that our girl can eat this food without unsetting her gut. Within 24hrs of starting this food her poohs became solid and she has had no further bouts of colitis. Highly recommended. I tried to give the product 5 stars across the board but the site would not let me.

A good product, however can be inconsistent as sometimes it can be a little dry, and it is a little expensive (that's generally, PetShop do offer a competitive price). Delivery and Service is five stars, however the webpage won 't allow me to tick these options.

My dog was very ill last year and diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. We thought we would loose him as he wouldnt eat and was very thin . It has taken 20 months and lots of medication to get back his health . He can only eat two foods. This is one of them . He now eats it happily also my other dog does .

I'm Monty, a 10 year old Border Terrier with liver problems dating back to my youth. Having tried a number of different dog foods without much success I was prescribed Hills z/d by my vet, since when I have never looked back. It suits my very sensitive digestion and, other than my vet, no one would know that I am not in the rudest of health. I cannot recommend Hills z/d enough (and I'm not being paid to write this!).
