Grain-free dog food, crafted with free-range chicken and specially selected vegetables and botanicals for the ideal ratio of protein to fat for a larger dog. With added glucosamine and chondroitin for joint care.

The whole Canagan range has been expertly crafted to match your dog’s ancestral diet. The ideal balance of meat with the correct ratio of animal ingredients and specially selected vegetables and botanicals.

Chicken is an excellent source of protein, vitamins, phosphorous and selenium which is good for the immune system.
Provides a natural and valuable source of minerals which contain iodine to support thyroid function and control metabolism.
A highly digestible premium source of slow-release energy, rich in anti-oxidants and a great source of soluble fibre.
Marigold stimulates white blood cell production and strengthens the immune system. Cranberry is rich in Vitamin C and helps promote a healthy urinary tract. Camomile is thought to reduce stress.

Transitioning to Canagan- When feeding Canagan for the first time, we suggest you introduce it gradually over a week. On day one, mix 25% Canagan with 75% of the previous food. On day three, make it 50% of each; on day five, it is 75% Canagan, working up to 100% Canagan on day seven.

If the dog is overweight, reduce food intake by 10%. If the dog looks underweight, increase food intake by 10%. Continue until the correct weight is achieved. Always ensure there is clean drinking water available.

Recommended via our vet for digestive problems

We were recommended the Canagan dry chicken food by our vet due to our (then) puppy Labrador having a sensitive tummy. We have used it for the past year now with no digestive issues. We were advised that for the price its one of the best foods to buy. We buy the large kibble as it makes our labrador actually chew his food instead of swallowing whole. The only problem is the large kibble doesn't fit into the toy feeders we have, although this isn't an issue for us. Would certainly recommend, especially for those with digestive sensitivities.
