Pro Plan Veterinary Diets NF Renal Dry Dog Food - 3kg By Pro Plan Veterinary Diet
SKU: 784163N
Weight: 3.25kg
PURINA VETERINARY DIETS NF is a complete veterinary diet for dogs with chronic kidney disease. PVD NF contains restricted amounts of phosphorus as this mineral can build up in kidney patients and has been shown to contribute to progression of the disease. It also contains limited amounts of high quality protein to help reduce the build-up of toxins which make patients feel unwell, while helping to maintain muscle mass. Omega-3 fatty acids also help maximise the natural anti-inflammatory processes and reduce blood pressure inside the kidney.
Note that PVD NF is not suitable for dogs that require a high protein/phosphorus diet diet such as pregnant bitches or growing puppies.
- Low level of phosphorous to help slow the progression of chronic renal insufficiency
- Restricted but high quality proteins to help minimise loss of muscle and toxins formation
- Omega-3 fatty acids to help minimise renal hypertension and help support natural anti-inflammatory processes
- Complete dietetic pet food for adult dogs for support of renal function in case of chronic renal insufficiency with restricted levels of high quality proteins and phosphorus. This diet is also suitable for reduction of cystine and urates stones formation, with low level of protein and urine alkalinising properties.

It is recommended that a veterinarian's opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use. For dogs over 70kg: for each additional 5kg of body weight, feed an additional 25g of dry pet food. When feeding dry and wet, for each addition of 100g Canine NF wet can, reduce by 35g dry kibble.
