My deerhound loves it!

My deerhound has been eating this prescription food for about 18 months, since he had surgery for cystine bladder stones. Mixed with u/d wet food, he loves it! And he has so far stayed free of any cystine crystals or gravel in his urine, although he was also castrated at the time of his surgery, which also helps keep cystine stones at bay. However, I don't give it 5 stars mainly because he has now developed Dilated Cardiomyopathy which the vet cardiologist believes may be due, at least partly, to a lack of Taurine and L-carnitine in his diet. He now has both of these as supplements and is doing well.

My Scottish Deerhound is on this ud diet as advised by our vets Our Deerhound had crystals in his urine , the ud diet is specifically for this condition I had my doubts if he would eat this food however I needn't have been concerned as Our Deerhound eats this food without any hesitation Priced competitively from Petshop I have this on a subscription which gives an even better price
