15 year old Labrador looking great, including joints and energy levels.

by -

We've been feeding our 'foster' 15 year old Golden Labrador this (and the previous 9+ years version) for over a year and he is looking great, including coat, joints and energy levels. Weighing in at 29 Kg he gets a level mug full (120g) morning and night, plus half a dozen 'Winalot Shapes' at midday, and if he's really lucky; maybe a little of our meat and veg scraps as a treat, that's all!

Excellent food

My boy has been having Beta since being a pup - and now at 13 has been using the senior version for a few years - he thoroughly enjoys it whilst having the odd treat as labradors do like their food. His coat still remains shiny tantamount to the quality of the food.

We have three dogs aged between eight and thirteen. A Chesapeake retriever, a border collie and a cavapoo. The kibble is just the right size for all of them. Their coats are all nice and shiny. They all wolf it down every day without any problem. They love it! 🙂

Great product

I've used beta dog food ever since I've had my dogs (now 11 and 9 years old) . The protein content is far better than other brands and I have 2 healthy staffordshire bull terriers with glossy coats to show for it. I would recommend it to all dog owners for the price and product. My dogs love it. Plus this site seems to be the cheapest and the delivery is exceptional

I have been feeding my dog on Beta products since we had her at 2 years old, changing to Beta Senior at 7 years old. She has always enjoyed her food and appears to do well on this product. I have previously fed my other dogs on it.

I have two elderly cocker spaniels, who are both fit and healthy. I have fed them Beta Senior dry dog food for a number of years, I think it gives them a complete balanced diet, keeps my dogs fit, having a good service from Petshop.co.uk is an added bonus

Brilliant!

My dearly beloved old trooper has been raised on Beta Purina since she was 5 months old! She is now 11+ years old and transitioned to the senior variety without any problem. The smaller sized kibbles make it easier for her to eat - albeit more work when she scatters them on the floor! Sally is in tip top shape - healthy, energetic, beautifully smooth coat, very pampered and extremely happy. Using the senior variety has enabled me to maintain Sally`s optimum weight and health simply and easily. The bottomless bowl option means that I do not even have to worry about running out! Win, win all round!

My dogs have always been on Beta. They have just changed to senior and still enjoy it. The smaller kibbles help as they are now getting older. Delivery and service was great.

Purina Beta Senior helps keep our 13 year old Labrador moving. Although life is becoming a challenge she can still move very rapidly when a cup of Beta Senior is tipped into her bowl! Never a drop left and the bowl is licked cleaner than a dishwasher can manage!

Have been feeding Beta dog food to my Labrador for over thirteen years and would recommend it to other dog owners

Dry Dog Food which goes down a treat!

by -

Well I should say I have Beagles so to be honest ANY food is edible to them but I chose BETA due to the meat percentage and to be honest the price! I've tried a few other brands and this makes my beagles dance around a little bit more and annoyingly squeak a little bit more too! They get excited for any food for as a buyer and dog mum this one is good for my pocket too!

Dog style changes

by -

Until recently, we fed our senior cross Staffy / lab tinned dog food plus mixer. This changed when we got a 6 month old puppy who was used to Beta puppy food. We decided to change her diet and chose Beta Senior with chicken dry dog food. By using the feeding guide on the bag and cutting out tit-bits we are now able to manage her weight, much to the delight of her vet. We do give her about 5-10g of tinned food just to encourage her to eat her breakfast, but apart from that, she loves her food. It certainly works for her. It has taken out the guess work of how much to feed her.

Beta Senior review

Our 9 year old Lab has always had Beta dog food progressing from puppy to adult to light and now senior. First and foremost she likes it and health wise she has remained well. Coat condition is excellent with others commenting on her shiny, soft fur! Secondly we feel it is excellent value for money compared to other similar products.

Would recommend.
