Since swapping our (now) 10 year old Lab to this food, we’ve noticed an all round improvement in his coat and skin! It also agrees with his digestive system!

Our elderly Glen of Imaal has been suffering from digestive problems - especially if she is given some of the cheaper brands of dog food. James Wellbeloved fish and rice for senior dogs seems to suit her well and she loves it (although she can smell a little fishy for a very short while afterwards). Now we are all happy!

This food is great, I feed my Labrador who has a sensitive stomach and a bit tubby, Vet's suggested this even though he is only 5 year old because its low fat and good for this tummy, and the delivery is unbelievable, I ordered on the Thursday and was here on the Friday, nearly Christmas to so really impressed.

James Wellbeloved food is excellent. We feed two dogs on JWB and they are both healthier and their coats are better looking and shinier than they were before we started to use JWB. One hound has been on it for about 4 years and the other one for about 16 weeks (after he started being fussy about the other stuff he had been fed on by his previous carers). I would not hesitate to recommend any of the JWB dry food and can specifically recommend both the Senior and Puppy versions of all their flavours (although the fish and rice one seems to smell more like fish than the others do of their main flavours). petshop.co.uk here can provide the large bags (15kg) significantly cheaper than the pet shops so it's always worth checking out who has the offers and the best prices at the point you are looking to buy.

This seems to be an excellent food and my dog loves it. The only reason I did not give it a "5 Star" rating is because of the price, which I think is very high.

Great value for money as my dog is a border terrier a bag this size lasts for approx 6 months & maintains its crispness & my dog loves it!

Dogs are a picture of Health, delivery a little slow tho.

Excellent food, i have one very fussy eater of a collie x german shepherd and this is about the only thing he will eat.

I personally don't love it (the price) but the difference it has made to our labradors skin and coat in a short space of time, is really noticeable...and she doesn't get 'itchy' anymore, she looks great..

Having a sensitive old Staffie (aged12) with an extremely sensitive stomach, this is the only dried food that does not give him BAD (i'm talking Napalm-stylee) wind. For that I am truly grateful. However, HE is not so keen on it . He does not wolf it down like other products we have tried. In the end, when he is hungry enough he eats it, but I imagine it is a bit bland for him. I would love some small sample packs of the other Senior range flavours to see if that is what it is, but loathe to pay out for the 1.5/2kg bags and he does not like them, or they upset his tummy.

My dog is a Golden Retriever and will eat almost anything (including horse manure - yuk) but the breeder recommended James Wellbeloved products and I have mostly stuck with them from when she was a puppy. I think the fish one is potentially better for dog and she certainly seems to like it. I cannot say whether her coat is shinier or she is in better shape from eating this food when compared with others because she has always been fed on this (along with some tinned meat with each meal and various treats to keep things interesting for her) but she is now eight years old and is in good health according to the vet, so that can't be bad. I have a policy when buying anything of looking for the best quality product and then shopping around to obtain it at a bargain price and I have yet to find better dog food than this at a cheaper price elsewhere, when one considers the 'free' delivery cost if one subscribe the bottomless bowl on petshop.co.uk.

Excellent for my dog who only eats fish products! But I like it because there are no chemicals and harsh colourings which are very bad for any dog- but this is also very good for his stomach

Changed to fish as my dog stopped eating the lamb and rice kibble. He loves the change. Good to see him eating again.
