About Seresto
Give your dog long-lasting protection against fleas and ticks with a Seresto Flea and Tick Control collar for small dogs. Unlike other flea and tick protection, Seresto kills fleas and repels and kills ticks for 7-8 continuous months, no biting required1. As a result of this, Seresto is clinically proven to reduce the risk of canine vector borne diseases babesiosis and ehrlichiosis2. It's the longest lasting over-the-counter protection available in a single application, so there's no need to remember monthly treatments.
Using an advanced polymer matrix, the active ingredients are stored within the collar itself. Utilising the natural oils in your dog's skin, Seresto steadily releases the active ingredients from head to tail, keeping them protected for 7-8 months. There is no mess, no grease and no smell, plus it features specially designed safety release mechanisms to give you peace of mind.
Seresto’s new, recyclable moulded fibre pack produces 70% less CO2* during manufacturing. The inner protective pouch remains unchanged, ensuring the same quality product and protection for your pet. How to Use Seresto Flea and Tick Control collar for Dogs
Simply place Seresto on your dog and forget about fleas and ticks for 7-8 months. Fit and forget with Seresto.
INSTRUCTIONS
Cutaneous use. One collar per animal to be fastened around the neck.
Remove collar from protective bag directly before use. Unroll collar and make sure that there are no remnants from the plastic connectors inside the collar. Adjust the collar around the animal's neck without tightening it too tight (as a guide, it should be possible to insert 2 fingers between the collar and the neck). Pull excess collar through the loop and cut off any excess length extending beyond 2 cm.
The collar should be worn continuously and removed at the end of the 7-8 month protection period. Check periodically and adjust fit, if necessary, especially when puppies are rapidly growing.

Excellent product for flea and tick control

These flea and tick collars were recommended by my vet, I have been using them for my dogs for many years, we live in the country and haven't had a single tick or flea since we started using them. One of our dogs was allergic to some other flea and tick treatments but we have had no reactions at all with the Sorresto collars. I definitely wouldn't use anything else

This is the same make offered by the large high street pet store but cheaper, at least £7 so well worth knowing. Came in an air tight tin with a good expiry date on and was easy to fit.

Bought as we walk our cocker spaniel in woods/long grass and he kept picking up ticks and his Advance flea treatment doesn't cover ticks. Easy to cut down, and he doesn't notice it at all. Took about a week to work completely, but he has only had one 'visitor' thus far!

My Standard Poodles are walked regularly across the South Downs. Coming back from a walk four years ago they both had ticks and a friend recommended these, which then required a prescription from the vet. I have used them every year since then, from March to October and they have been clear. An easy solution, easier now no prescription is needed.
