I have been feeding the birds peckish complete for about three years now as well as the odd bag of other brands but they are not up to the standard and variety of ingredients of peckish and the 20kg bag is the most economic

This 20kg sack provides excellent value. It attracts a wide variety of birds to the hanging feeder and also attracts many others to feed from the ground.

WE use the Peckish fatballs but decided to try the seed as well. Just as good, the birds love it and we scored more birds than average in our garden during the Big Bird watch.

Sparrows love it can’t keep up filling my large feeder , Bluetits and great Tits love it too.

Only 1 robin interested, tits ignore it . Where are the sunflower hearts ? Very inferior to peckish crumble mix and not like seed mix picture .. no sunflower hearts .. petshop.co.uk very kindly sent me extra sunflower seeds so good review for them but very unhappy with this seedmix .. 1 bird feeder full currently ignored and rotting . . Approx 20kg to dispose of . Birds ( mainly tits) not interested in feeder full of this except one occasional robin .Probably good for pigeons, maybe finches but not seen any .. The peckish crumble mix in small bag went down well with tits and attracted other birds so I bought a big bag of this but when I opened it it looked like the sort of seed mix which my tits ignore til it rots in the feeder and it seems it is .. couldn’t see any sunflower hearts . Robin eats a tiny bit .. Maybe finches would like it but rare here currently. I could put on ground for blackbirds but suspect would then get hoards of pigeons instead

Watched blue tits carefully chuck lots onto the ground. Pictures reveal a wide variety of seed types on the ground. Very small round red and white seeds may feature, but I even see 2 sunflower together and yes there are plenty of others too. Wish I could post a pic. Food for thought. That said, the feeder is well used by blue tits and robins. This bag of "Complete Seed & Nut. 12 seed mix. No mess" was from my local Aldi who sell tonnes of it. Birds around here are spoilt and maybe fussy. I don't see Seed & Nut being sold elsewhere. Maybe a special mix for Aldi? Will try a different mix next time.

The advantage of this seed is that you don't get grass growing where it is droped .Birds seem to like it .however it does get messy when wet and is expensive. But i think it is worth the extra cost.

This seed is great definitely no mess or waste. I used to get lots of wheatgrass growing from from spilt feeders, now with this nothing, which means i can place my feeders anywhere i like now
