SPECIFIC FCW-P Crystal Management is a complete veterinary wet diet specially formulated for dissolution and reduction of recurrence of struvite uroliths, reduction of formation of new struvite and calcium oxalate crystals, reduction of feline lower urinary tract disease including idiopathic cystitis and urethral plugs, and as a daily diet for adult cats up to 8 years of age. Low RSS values for both struvite undersaturation and calcium oxalate low metastable saturation, with a urine pH below 6.4 to dissolve existing struvite crystals. Contains chondroitin as a component of the natural protective glycosaminoglycan layer coating the bladder wall. Use under veterinary supervision.
  • Low urinary RSS values for both struvite and calcium oxalate — for undersaturation and low metastable saturation to dissolve struvite and minimise risk of new crystal formation
  • Reduced magnesium and phosphorus content to reduce recurrence of struvite crystals and stones
  • Urine pH below 6.4 to dissolve existing struvite crystals and minimise risk of new struvite precipitation
  • Contains chondroitin — a component of the natural protective glycosaminoglycan layer coating the bladder wall
  • Dividing the daily ration into 3 to 4 meals minimises postprandial increases in urinary pH
  • High quality and highly digestible ingredients for optimal nutrient uptake and reduced faecal output
  • EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids for healthy skin, coat and joints
Chicken, Pork, Egg White Powder, Fish Oil, Sunflower Oil, Maize Starch, Minerals, Methionine, Cellulose Powder, Vitamins and Trace Elements (including chelated trace elements), Yeast, Psyllium Husk, Taurine, Ammonium Chloride, Rosemary Extract, Chondroitin Sulphate. Natural antioxidants (tocopherols and vitamin C). Contains no added artificial colours or flavourings.
Protein 10.0%, Fat 9.1%, Carbohydrate (NFE) 2.4%, Crude Fibre 0.4%, Calcium 0.20g, Phosphorus 0.16g, Magnesium 0.015g, Sodium 0.17g, Omega-3 Fatty Acids 0.65g, Chondroitin Sulphate 35mg, Moisture 76.3%. Metabolisable Energy 525 kJ/100g.
Daily individual requirements may vary depending on breed, environment, season and activity level. Divide the daily ration into 3 to 4 meals to minimise postprandial increases in urinary pH. Not recommended for simultaneous administration of urinary acidifiers, kittens younger than 6 months, pregnant or lactating queens, or cats with metabolic or renal acidosis. For obese cats use SPECIFIC FCD-L Crystal Management Light, FXD Adult or FRD Weight Reduction instead. For cats with recurrent idiopathic cystitis a wet diet is preferred.
