I have been looking for a high-quality food for my somewhat fussy dog, who tends to turn his nose up at new brands. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this food, as my dog took no convincing to try it and seemed to enjoy the taste and texture. I'm happy to see that this food has added benefits such as prebiotic to support digestion. I especially like that the packaging is paper rather than the usual plastic, which means it is better for the planet and reduces waste. I appreciate that the company cares about the environment as well as the health of my dog. I think this is a great product and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality weight loss option for their dog.

So , my staffy eats dry dog food and in a morning I will pour her some in her bowl and then she will just pick at it throughout the day , with this dog food she eat it all straight away , so the next day she did the same , she absolutely loves it , I will definitely be keeping her on this food for the foreseeable

My dog loved this product so much, she can be fussy about her food so it was great to see her happy eating. Often food is left or she is not interested but this product left her wanting more. I would definitely purchase this product again for her and it's made dog walking easier to pick her poo up as it seems to settle her stomach.

Great product although the kimbles are bigger than I though would be so fie a small dogs I would break then up slightly more but all went down a teat no wasage

This product came along at the right time as Bella has recently been advised to loose a but of weight by her vet. On arrival she was instantly excited to sniff and try the kibble out. The bag was easy to open but not re sealable so something to keep in mind as sealed storage will be needed to keep it fresh. Bella loved the couple of bits I allowed her to have as a treat so we then moved on to transitioning it into her meals. We were both interested to see different sizes of kibble in the bag. Ranging from small to very large. This means it takes her longer to eat meals, as the large bits require a bit of crunching, however I like this as always felt she ate way to fast. After three days Bella still excited for each meal and has had no tummy issues. Too early to see if helping with weight loss but excited to carry on with this product and see what difference it makes.

Have used purina beta before and found it gave my dog great coat condition and being light in fat kept her weight down. Am using beta for my mini schnauzer now to help with weight loss and keep her weight down

My jack russell parsons ddint seem to like this at all. I think the kibbles are too big for her. They would be perfect for a larger dog. She did eat a couple of kibbles but only when they were given as a treat not as her meal. Our 7 month old kitten loved stealing the kibbles and eating them so the food must taste good. Would buy this but choose a smaller kibble

Our Dog was excited before the box was open, she was sure at first but enjoys eating the Beta Light Turkey

Firstly I was concerned when I opened the bag as the chunks are quite large in comparison to the brand my 6 year old shih tzu normally has . I was worried that she would find them difficult to eat . I was so wrong . In fact they are so much better being larger pieces as now she takes her time chewing over each one . This has resulted in a much better digestion and she no longer has loose stools. I started off by giving her a few as treats and then gradually introduced them into her food over a few days . My dog loves them and gets very excited when I bring the bag out . On our recent visit to the vets her weight has also shown a slight decrease. This is amazing as she still has her little treats during the day and the weight loss , although slight is definitely an improvement. I will be sticking with this one . Thank you !!

My old labrador has been dieting due to being overweight but foods recommended by the vets dont appeal to him, ehile he does eat it, he doesnt look like hes enjoying it. During the beta trial, he really tucked into his food and seemed like he loved it, im really pleased as beta is considerably cheaper than the vets food! Its a winner in our house!

My dog has only been eating these for 2 days but she already shows how much she likes the biscuits by dancing around the kitchen when it's mealtime! I have started by combining a handful of biscuits in with her regular wet food as she never really takes to a dry- only diet. I feel doing it this way, the biscuits will last a few weeks as she has 2 meals a day. Overall very happy to have been chosen for this as due to my dog having diabetes, I have to keep her diet consistent, therefore her enjoying and eating all of what I give her is important . Update 4/10/18. She is still loving these biscuits ,the bowl is always completely empty after her meals. Would definitely try these again .

MY SPRINGER SPANIEL DOG PATCH WHO IS 3 YRS OLD HAS ISSUES WITH MANY DOG FOODS, BUT HE JUST LOVES THIS FOOD, AND IT SUITS HIM, I FEED HIM SOME IN THE MORNINGS IN HES KONG WOBBLER AND IN THE EVENINGS , ITS MADE SUCH A BIG DIFFERENCE TO HES COAT, SKIN, TEETH, IN JUST A FEW SHORT WEEKS, OTHER PEOPLE HAVE NOTICED IT TOO AND HES WEIGHT IS JUST IDEAL NOW, HE LOVES THIS FOOD AND WILL CONTINUE TO PURCHASE THIS AS ITS SO SUITABLE FOR HIM AND BEING THE LIGHT ONE IT HELPS KEEP THE WEIGHT OFF MY PATCH, SO HAPPY DOG , HAPPY OWNER! My overweight Cocker Spaniel tends to love his food a bit too much and when I first introduced Beta Light Turkey to him, all looked well and he seemed happy to eat it. However, as I gradually introduced more of it into his normal food, as recommended, he became less and less interested and has now reached a point where he leaves his bowl of food untouched for the whole day! Compared to his normal dried dog food, it actually looks quite uninteresting and bland, although I doubt the appearance would have much affect on him, as normally he wolfs his food down so quickly it doesn't touch the sides let alone get a chance to be seen! Perhaps if I was to continue to fed him this he would lose weight as he wouldn't eat so much, although I doubt this is the way it is supposed to work. I am disappointed as it all started out so well, but I am afraid it is just not for Dougal and I am unable to recommend it.

My dog loves this and eats it all, being two different size biscuits does seem to slow down his eating which is better for digestion. Didn't put on any weight so light is working.

Gave this to my Labrador, she wolfed it down and not a crumb was left. Downside- she has become a bit 'windy' and she walks off as she can't stand the smell either. Hopefully that will settle down as still have about quarter of the bag left

I have two adult Yorkies who, since being neutered, have acquired a middle aged spread. I've been toying with the idea of putting them on lighter food for a while now. On the first day they tried the Beta Light they both rolled in the food so I knew it was a hit. They have tried to bury it and save it for later too. The kibble size is perfect and it doesn't hang around in the bowl for long! It smells pretty nice considering its dog food too! I am happy with this food and so are my dogs.

I have tried this on my slightly overweight dog to see if it could replace her old food but she is taking her time on eating it. It smells good, looks good and is easily digested but for some reason she is not as enthusiastic as I’d like her to be. I will persevere and hopefully it will change over the next few days.

My boy is very fussy when it comes to his food, he is a 7year old GSD rescue. I introduced the BETA food gradually with his regular food and he absolutely loves it. I think I may even buy this instead of the Autarky biscuit he normally has. I've noticed a slight difference to his behaviour too, just goes to show that when the experts tell you it's all about the food.... it's actually true. All natural ingredients definately helps-for the better I might add. I am so glad I got to trial this food for my dog as his well being is all that matters to me. Keep up the good work I say.

I gave my dog the dog biscuits the day they arrived and she has loved them ever since, she isn’t interested in her old biscuits and gets very excited to hear the bag coming out. I will be continuing to use the biscuits as my dog is eating a lot better

Our dog is 2 kilos over weight and since being on the Light variety Turkey flavour. Shes Fed once per day and She’s steadily losing the weight gain from previous food. The biscuits are quite a good size so probably better suited to larger breeds. It’s stops our dog just swallowing them whole so take longer to eat which is a good thing. Had no issues switching with upset stomach etc which has happened before. I wouldn’t say our dog is a fussy eater but she will let you know if she doesn’t like it. So all in all a good food. Will keep her on it until she loses the extra weight and then maybe use it to maintain and increase the portion size as to combat and more loss. Would recommend
