Aktivait is supplied in capsules for dogs and is used to help keep older dogs bright, alert and active when given daily. It is a nutritional supplement to help maintain a healthy central nervous system and normal brain function. 

Aktivait can be given from middle-age onwards, and is given particularly for the following conditions: 

• increased wandering
• pacing or restlessness (often noticed in older animals, which sadly will sleep peacefully all day, then be unsettled at night!)
• aimless barking (also often at night!)
• depression or general disinterest
• tending to get confused or lost in places which used to be familiar
• failing to recognise people or other animals
• reduced interest in playing, or interacting with people
• loss of normal house training and toileting habits

All of the behaviour patterns above are signs of cognitive decline which are commonly noticed in older dogs. At the first sign of them happening, regular use of Aktivait can help to slow down further deterioration, thereby improving quality of life for pets and owners. 

Noticeable improvements from Aktivait have been reported as early as 3-4 weeks after the start of supplementation but this will vary by age, breed and the severity of the changes present.

Ingredients: 
DHA EPA 35mg, N-acetyl cysteine 30mg, L-Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C 20mg), L-carnitine L-tartrate 13.5mg, Vitamin E (as di-a-tocopherol acetate) 10mg, Acetyl l-carnitine 5mg, Co Enzyme Q10 1.5mg, Phosphotidylserine (as Lecithin) 1.5mg. Selenium (as L-selenomethionine) 25 mcg.

Feeding Guidelines:
Aktivait comes in a capsule which can be opened and mixed with food, or given whole to your dog.
