My cats really enjoy this food, one cat has skin problems, so I wanted something tasty but natural and nutritious. I tried different high quality foods with them and this brand came out top in the taste test, so they've been eating it for a few years now. I like that it's made with high quality ingredients with nothing artificial, but includes vitamins and minerals. A healthy meal for both cats.

There’s the standard complaints that the quality and quantity went down with the tins, and the price went up. My issue is with the tins themselves. They can’t seem to make two batches that are consistent in smell, taste and texture. My cats (like most) much preferred the food in the pouches, but they can stomach the food in the tins… sometimes. 50% of the time it looks like meat, has cracks and some liquid running through it and it’s fine. The other half of the time it looks over processed, rubbery and smells rancid and, of course, the cats run a a mile. This is the case with all their new cat range flavours and it would be great if they could manage some quality control, as in theory we like the product.

My cat has a flea allergy and has suffered with dermatitis so I have to be very careful and keep on top of treatments. Knowing that diet makes a difference too and after trying various different foods, this is the one he likes the best and it's made a fantastic difference to his skin health as well. I was very disappointed that Natures Menu had suddenly discontinued the pouches. I had no warning so could not stock up. They have replaced them with cans which are SMALLER ! I had a great deal of trouble weaning my bottle baby onto wet food ( although he ate kitten kibble !) and was so pleased to find these pate style pouches were acceptable ! The tins are supposed to be the same but my lad was very dubious when I tried one yesterday. He did eventually eat it
