The formulas are adapted fulfil to the specific needs to kittens, adults and senior cats. With a single meat protein source (either turkey or lamb) for each food, no beef or pork, wheat or wheat gluten, no dairy products or egg and no added cereals, these complete cat foods are hypo-allergenic and free from many of the ingredients which are renowned for causing food intolerances. They don’t contain any added artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

This is a grain free food for Senior cats ; which I have been advised is best for one of my cats who has Triaditis . The quality of James Wellbeloved seems excellent .
Packed with carbohydrate

This product is high in carbohydrates. It can state that's it's grain free but the grains are substituted with peas, and potatoes. These ingredients are cheaper than meat as a protein source. Study a cats natural diet - they have little need for carbs and some cats find it difficult to digest.
