Furminator Deshedding Tool for Extra Small Dogs With Short Hair By Furminator

The FURminator Undercoat De-shedding Tool is a professional quality grooming tool for safely and effectively removing loose hair from your pet’s undercoat. Brushing with the De-shedder Tool just once or twice a week for 10 to 20 minutes, reduces loose hair from shedding up to 90%! Our FURminator De-shedding Tools are available in various widths and edge depths tailored to fit pets of different sizes and fur lengths, ensuring there's a perfect match for every dog, cat and even horses and small animals too. This tool is suitable for extra small breed dogs (<4.5KG) with short fur (<5cm). The Undercoat De-shedder should only be used on shedding, double-coated breeds and should not be used on hair-bearing, non-shedding breeds. The stainless-steel de-shedding edge safely and easily removes loose hair and undercoat, without damaging topcoat or cutting skin. The quick release FURejector button releases collected hair with ease, leaving your hand free to safely hold your pet. The curved edge is designed to fit your pet’s natural shape, while the Skin Guard edges prevents digging in, designed for your pet’s safety and comfort. The Undercoat De-shedder is designed for your comfort, as well as your pets', with an ergonomic non-slip handle which is comfortable and easy to grip. Regular brushing with the FURminator Undercoat De-shedding Tool can help improve the appearance of your pet’s coat and promote healthier skin.

For best results, use the FURminator Undercoat De-shedding Tool 1-2 times a week for 10 to 20 minutes each session, though the actual time will vary depending on your pet’s breed, the condition of their coat, and the thickness of the pet’s individual coat. It may be necessary to use the Undercoat De-shedding Tool more frequently during heavy shedding seasons. Brush your pet before using the Undercoat De-shedding Tool to remove any mats or tangles. Using the tool on matted or tangled fur can bend or break the teeth, as well as feel uncomfortable for the pet.
