Best Dry Dog Food Ever!!
Best dry dog food I've ever bought as the dog needs less of it than cheap food it lasts longer. My Alaskan Malamute goes through one 12.5kg bag per month! Her weight, coat, behaviour and health are all great!
Best Ever !
This dog food looks like chocolate buttons. You use less of it than other dog foods so it lasts longer. It is loved by my dog whom is a chocolate lab. His coat is shiny and his weight is stable. Although he used to like other dog foods he never really had brown solid poos' before when eating other dog foods. I changed to this food after a little research into dog food to find a higher protein dog food. When I realised that this dog food is made in Britain, well that's a plus for a start. Then I read that it has 75% protein (which comes from chicken) so new this food was worth a try .Well as I prepare the food for my dog he starts to drool and he hasn't done that since he was a pup and he has solid poos' :) for once in his life. Give this food ago. You won't be disappointed. Just remember to change over from your old dog food slowly ,preferably over two weeks , or they may get tummy upsets.
The Dogs Seem To Like It
by Phil Slade
For a large breed kibble, they do seem quite small but our dogs eat it up with relish so maybe it is right. this is the only kibble they will eat on its own,we have had to add tinned meat to others which sort of defeats the object of the kibble. Since being fed on Applaws, one of our Spinones has finally put on some weight and is looking as she should.
Product arrived on time and was well packaged, however when I opened the packaging the bag of kibble itself was split (I opened it by pulling off the sticky tape, not using anything sharp) which was disappointing. On the plus side my dog seems to really enjoy it. Too soon to comment on health benefits.
by Papis mum
The positives about this particular dog food is that it's dry kibble and therefore convenient to serve also, the ingredients are great and I feel confident that I'm giving my dog one of the finest dog foods (in terms of nutritional value) available. On the other hand, this food made no noticeable, positive difference to MY dog, in fact on the contrary, Papi (registered pitbull terrier) has had HUGE stools, extremely dark in colour and foul smelling, he also occasionally had difficulty eliminating and stayed crouched for several minutes (similar thing happened when I tried Eden dog food). All in all, I'm sure there are some dogs that thrive on this particular brand, unfortunately mines is not one of them and therefor I will neither be re-purchasing nor can I recommend. Papi has always done well on wainwrights grain free and I will be going back to that.
Alfie Loves This
Alfie my lurcher, is active and on the go all day. He loves this food and eats each biscuit individually with relish. His teeth and coat are amazing too. This food has a five star rating on "" allaboutdogfood.co.uk "" Click on dog foods and the dog food directory, this gives you the break down of all the ingredients and shows any additives etc. Many well known and more expensive foods recommended by vets score only 3 stars. this is one of the few to get 5 stars.
The biscuits are also large enough to be given as an individual treat/ reward. Delivered to the door too. Give it a go. I am pleased I did and so is Alfie.
