Cats with worms often won’t show any signs of a worm infection, but left untreated they can lead to serious health complications for you and your family. DrontaI cat XL film-coated tablets are highly-effective and shaped to make worming easier for both you and your cat. INSTRUCTIONS
For single oral administration.
For cats 4-6kg = 1 tablet
For cats greater than 6kg, it may be more convenient to use Dronspot Spot On Wormer for Large Cats.
The tablets can be given directly, but if necessary, can be disguised in food.
How often should I worm my cat?
Research has shown that the majority of cats in the UK should be wormed monthly, based on their home environment and lifestyle such as scavenging, hunting, and spending time outdoors.* However, there may be situations where less frequent treatment is required and it’s best to speak to your vet about the most appropriate worming frequency for your cat.

Not intended for use in kittens less than 6 weeks of age.
Not to be used during pregnancy but may be used during lactation.
Keep out of sight and reach of children and wash hands after use.
Do not given Dronta cat wormer if your cat is receiving other medicines containing piperazine.

Good product at good price

Used it on three cats they didnt get ill and i think it worked but its hard to tell. One cat got worms again at a later date so ive reordered. Make sure you put the pill far down your cats throat and they will swallow it automatically.

Cats refused them

I can't really review the effectiveness... I crushed the tablets up and tried to give them mixed in the feed which the cats mostly refused, along with a few tablet free feeds afterwards.... The crushing up method does not work and I will have to think of a different product/plan
Good product& service

I’ve used these worming tablets for a few years now & have not seen any signs of worms in my cats ever, including in the cat who is a keen & adept hunter of mice etc. The tablets are rather large but easily chopped in half to administer; I use a pill popper for this which is simple enough. The tablets have no observable immediate side-effects & though, not surprisingly (!) the cats don’t love the process they’re back to themselves a minute of 2 after having had them. They were sent out promptly & I like that I can choose the number I need to order rather than being obliged to order a set size.

We used to get these from the vet but that got quite expensive as we are looking after a feral also. These are great, they keep them parasite free and if you manage to hide them in food they are quite easy to give.

Have used Drontal worming tablets since getting my 2 now 12 years old cats as kittens. Have used the XL products for several years as my 2 lads are over 6kg each. The XL tablets are large but i find it easy to put it to the back of my cats mouth and they easily swallow it, they then get a few treats. My cats have never had worms.
