A YOUNG Warwickshire-based entrepreneur will be talking about his experiences in setting up a business in the region at a major conference this month.

Adam Taylor, aged 30, launched online PetShopBowl UK last January to provide next day delivery on over 1,500 pet food products.

The expanding company has now moved into a 5,000 sq ft premises at Stratford Enterprise Park in Timothy’s Bridge Road, Stratford, and was shortlisted in the best retailer and specialist service of the year category at the Pet Industry Awards 2011.

Adam will tell the firm’s story as part of a panel at the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership’s first regional conference at the Ricoh Arena on Friday.

“The catalyst was the help we received from The Prince’s Trust and the Chamber of Commerce,” he said.

“I went on a free one-week Prince’s Trust business programme which demystified all the fears I had and I would heavily recommend anyone setting up a business to attend one of their courses.
