Marketing Internship (4 weeks) with Award Winning Company!

PetShop.co.uk is a leading online retailer of pet supplies. Based in Warwickshire, the focus of our business is to provide on-line consumers with excellent products, first-rate service and competitive prices.
In an evolving on-line market it is our intention to develop ‘PetShop.co.uk’ brand through structured yet rapid growth.
A unique opportunity has arisen for students to join and learn alongside a fun, young fast growth ecommerce company. Having won many National competitions this is a unique opportunity to work in marketing with a vibrant fast growing company.
This is a 4 week unpaid internship we are offering to three students. (Travel expenses will be reimbursed). The position is available to 1st, 2nd or penultimate year students.
You will play a crucial part in the establishment of an online retailer. As an ecommerce intern you will learn and gain valuable work experience from our experienced team to assist and manage in a number of different business areas including:
• Online sales and marketing
• Understand Search Engine Optimisation
• Learn about Google Adwords & Analytics
• Social media marketing (we currently have 150,000 fans on Facebook and growing!)
• Product management & promotions
• Managing and updating the ecommerce store
There will be weekly team strategy meetings for you to learn and contribute. The right candidate will be organised, have a natural interest in marketing and above all demonstrate a hunger to learn & take on responsibility to become an integral part of the team. The candidate should be comfortable working with Microsoft office, web browsing & online shopping!
The company is more interested in what you can give now rather than what you have done in the past. Candidates from a whole range of degree backgrounds are welcome to apply.
