A complete diet to help support the maintenance of all healthy working dogs, but unfortunately does not contain the best recipe as it includes unspecified sources of meat and animal derivatives as the main meat ingredient, preservatives and colourants. Although, the diet is still popular with our customers because it is very cheap and easy to feed to your pet.

Suitable for: Healthy adult working dogs of all breeds as a complete and balanced diet.
Main Ingredient: The main ingredient is cereals - meat is much better as the top ingredient.
Main Meat Source: Meat and animal derivatives (including 5% chicken in brown chunk).
Protein Amount: This diet is 22% protein; enough for adult working dogs as long as it can be digested well.
Product Aim: To maintain general health and support higher energy requirements.
Allergy Benefits: Unknown; does contain some ingredients which commonly cause allergies.
Is it a natural product? No, contains preservatives, but no artificial colours or flavours.
Does it include any additives? Yes, preservatives and colourants etc.
Wind, bad breath, fur & teeth benefits? A healthy coat and skin is aided by omega 3 and 6. Yucca and fibre in the diet help limit wind. Dry food helps ‘clean' the teeth and avoid bad breath.
Can I only feed this one product? Yes, it is complete so there is no need for any other foods - just give fresh clean water in a bowl too.

Wagg Worker Complete Chicken Dry Dog Food is a complete diet for healthy adult working dogs of all breeds, which contains 22% protein. It is made to support a healthly digestive system by added fibre and mannan oligosaccharides (a prebiotic). Also supports your pet's immune system by added antioxidant vitamins A, E & C and citrus extracts. The main ingredient is cereals - not very digestible for dogs - diets with a meat main ingredient are much healthier. The next biggest ingredient is 'meat and animal derivatives' which means various meats and animal body parts - not the best meat source. The diet contains no artificial colourants or flavours, but does include preservatives. Overall, the diet is complete so has everything your pet needs, but some ingredients may not be digestible enough and the diet does not have a recipe as good as other brands.
How does it keep my dog fit and healthy?
Maintenance - The diet is complete so it contains all the nutrients your dog needs for their health.
Skin and Coat - Includes balanced omega 3 and 6 levels and zinc for a healthy coat and skin.
Digestion - Contains 3% fibre and yucca to help improve digestive health.
Immunity - Vitamins A, E & C and citrus extracts in the food help to develop a healthy immune system.
And, how do I feed it to my dog?
You can just give the food straight to your pet as it is! However, always follow the feeding guideline to know how much to feed.
So, Is it a good food to buy?
This is a complete food to support your dog's health. The packaging is open about the ingredients, although they are not the as good as those in other dog foods. The feeding method is very easy and the product very cheap!
Would it be agreeable with my dog?
Does your dog have bad breath or teeth?
The food is made into small biscuits which helps keep the teeth clean and remove tartar when the dog bites and chews it!
Does your dog have a dull or rough coat?
The diet contains omega 6 and 3 which aid skin and coat nourishment.

This information is provided as a guide only. Please refer to the product packaging for full details. The feeding quantities are based on the average healthy dog. Individual feeding needs depend on many factors, including weight, age, size, activity level and environment. So, feeding amounts needed may vary and should be adjusted as required to maintain a lean, healthy body and weight.
If you wanted to feed a mixed diets, perhaps wet and dry food, then be sure to alter the feeding quantities accordingly to avoid over-feeding your dog.
Dogs and cats are natural predators so wouldn’t be eating cold food in nature; to improve how tasty the food is for your pet try providing it at room temperature.

Great for my Great Dane x
by Andrew Wilkinson
Fantastic product. I tried dog food which was £50 even £60 for 15kg. Now I get 17kg for about £10 - it's amazing. She looks beautiful. No more gas! Regular bowel movements. Lovely coat and fantastic energy levels. Can't recommend this product enough. If you pay more you're being mugged. Wagg is also produced in GB. Fly the flagg... ;)
Ruby used to get bored 5kg in to the other food this she's happy to keep eating. Never bored of it.
My dog certainly has more Wagg!

Excellent food. Excellent value
by Dylan Shaw
There are many expensive dog foods out there that claim to do many wonderful things. I have been a professional dog trainer/handler for many years. I found that my working German Shepherds tended to lose condition and vitality with many of the expensive foods. Shortly after starting to use Wagg I realised my dogs became more active and their coats are now amazing. In general I would say they are fitter on this food than they have ever been. From a personal and professional standpoint I would highly recommend Wagg to any dog owner. Oh and value for money......have a look!

I have 2 border collies, I have tried various other foods all much more expensive and they have had terrible stomach upsets, been hyper and a general nightmare, however I switched to this on recommendation of a staff member at my local Scats and it is fantastic. two very happy dogs, one very happy owner. Our new pup will be fed on the puppy version, and I have recommended it to other owners who have had problems with other foods.

My 2 labs thrive on this food, as did my previous dogs. Both are healthy, fit and full of life, our vet always comments on just how healthy they are. I have tried more expensive foods but they just didn't suit. Have always recommended this to dog owner friends.

Wholesome dog food without added sugars
by Sophia Jones
My dogs enjoy this as a mixer with their Butcher's tripe dog food and they absolutely thrive on it. This is good quality dried food without added sugars or synthetics, which can be used either dry or pre-soaked in water/gravy. Recommended
Young adult Staffie
by Christopher Booth
My Staffie is almost 3 now, I've had him just over six months and have fed him Wagg for most of that time. I can be very pernickety when it comes to my dog and I tend to only give him the best of the best. Normally I would assume the really expensive dog food was the better option but I tend to judge by my dogs reaction and its safe to say he LOVES this and the 'Beef and Veg' version as well. Runs and sits at his bowl every time I go near his food bin :)

Wagg Chicken and Vegetables.
by Layla Jackson
As stated in the review about the Beef and vegetable, my Labradors are only fed on the Wagg selections,
and they seem to enjoy it, but being Labradors, their names should be "See food and Eat it"!
Wagg Complete Worker dog food = happy pooches
by Jason Ryan
I bought this because I have 2 German shepherd dogs and they get through lots of food and humping sacks of dog food home is very tiring, and I can not for the life of me find a sack of dog food, this big, and of such good quality for this price, so being able to order it online and get it delivered to my door is very convenient and I have 2 very happy doggies :)
Excellent value dog food
by Jordan Mcdonald
Have been feeding my two Ridgebacks this food since they were 12 months old, they are now 10 and 8 years and are fit active dogs. When I took them to the vets for their booster jabs he commented on how good they both looked, good teeth, just the right weight and with a healthy glossy coat. Would recommend Wagg worker to anyone with an active adult dog. PS As a bonus, they love it!!

My Dogue De Bordeaux at 6 months was quite skinny and eating FAR to much premium food for me to keep up with.
I changed her over to this for all the reasons it says on the packet, and now at 7months she's stocking out nicely! Great value for money especially for larger breeds

by Victoria Bailey
the dog food arrived before expected delivery date. it last's my dog around 6-8 weeks using meat on occasion too, my dog seems to really enjoy this food
A great all round food at an even better price.
by Blake Ali
Having tested too many brands and variations to recall, I finally went back to Wagg. My Labrador is an unusually fussy eater and had a sensitive tummy - Wagg is the only brand to cover all problems and he'll clear his bowl in the blink of an eye (plus - and if you're a fellow lab owner you'll understand - the wind issue is gone!!!) I would recommend Wagg to anyone else searching for a good all round food.
Excellent value - our dog loves it!
by Muhammad Butler
We have a 16 month old 5 stone chocolate labrador, who like a typical labrador eats and eats and eats. This food actually seems to leave him satisfied and not pestering for food! Tried various more expensive premium brands, and apart from feeling we were paying for the names of these products, he was always waiting for food at least two hours before his meal times. At breakfast he has a value brand, (+cornflakes), but has wagg for his main evening meal. This large bag lasted two months, so it really is quite exceptional. The vet says he is in excellent health with lovely, fine muscle definition and she was surprised when we told her that he was no longer having a premium dog food! Well done Wagg!
by Dominic Graham
all three of my dogs love this particular dried dog food, especially the chicken version. no complaint's from me or them. the price-tag that goes with it is amazing, for the quality of food and amount (wieght) you can't beat it. fully recomended.
by Ryder George
Delivered quickly and at a good price. My dog has thrived on Wagg for years and is a healthy 11 year old Akita/GSD. He does prefer it with the occasional extra mixed in, such as the bits of chicken etc that we don't want. I also add a spoonful of cod liver oil.
affordable and good quality
by Micah Andrews
Price is very important to me, but I don't want to feed my dog rubbish either. When we got her from a farm breeder they had been feeding all their pups on Wagg and now she's 2 and still gets it. Have tried other cheap brands but she wasn't keen, so sticking with this stuff!
