A complete diet to help support the maintenance of all healthy working dogs, but unfortunately does not contain the best recipe as it includes unspecified sources of meat and animal derivatives as the main meat ingredient, preservatives and colourants. Although, the diet is still popular with our customers because it is very cheap and easy to feed to your pet.

Suitable for: Healthy adult working dogs of all breeds as a complete and balanced diet.
Main Ingredient: The main ingredient is cereals - meat is much better as the top ingredient.
Main Meat Source: Meat and animal derivatives (including 4% beef in red kibble).
Protein Amount: This diet is 22% protein; enough for adult working dogs as long as it can be digested well.
Product Aim: To maintain general health and support higher energy requirements.
Allergy Benefits: Unknown; does contain some ingredients which commonly cause allergies.
Is it a natural product? No, contains preservatives, but no artificial colours or flavours.
Does it include any additives? Yes, preservatives and colourants etc.
Wind, bad breath, fur & teeth benefits? A healthy coat and skin is aided by omega 3 and 6. Yucca and fibre in the diet help limit wind. Dry food helps ‘clean' the teeth and avoid bad breath.
Can I only feed this one product? Yes, it is complete so there is no need for any other foods - just give fresh clean water in a bowl too.
PetShopBowl’s Full View
Wagg Worker Complete Beef & Veg Dry Dog Food is a complete diet for healthy adult working dogs of all breeds, which contains 22% protein. It is made to support a healthly digestive system by added fibre and mannan oligosaccharides (a prebiotic). Also supports your pet's immune system by added antioxidant vitamins A, E & C and citrus extracts. The main ingredient is cereals - not very digestible for dogs - diets with a meat main ingredient are much healthier. The next biggest ingredient is 'meat and animal derivatives' which means various meats and animal body parts - not the best meat source. The diet contains no artificial colourants or flavours, but does include preservatives. Overall, the diet is complete so has everything your pet needs, but some ingredients may not be digestible enough and the diet does not have a recipe as good as other brands.
How does it keep my dog fit and healthy?
Maintenance - The diet is complete so it contains all the nutrients your dog needs for their health.
Skin and Coat - Includes balanced omega 3 and 6 levels and zinc for a healthy coat and skin.
Digestion - Contains 3% fibre and yucca to help improve digestive health.
Immunity - Vitamins A, E & C and citrus extracts in the food help to develop a healthy immune system.
And, how do I feed it to my dog?
You can just give the food straight to your pet as it is! However, always follow the feeding guideline to know how much to feed.
So, Is it a good food to buy?
This is a complete food to support your dog's health. The packaging is open about the ingredients, although they are not the as good as those in other dog foods. The feeding method is very easy and the product very cheap!
Would it be agreeable with my dog?
Does your dog have bad breath or teeth?
The food is made into small biscuits which helps keep the teeth clean and remove tartar when the dog bites and chews it!
Does your dog have a dull or rough coat?
The diet contains omega 6 and 3 which aid skin and coat nourishment.
One of our most popular diets offering a complete dry dog food ideal for all working dogs. Each biscuit contains optimum levels of protein and carbohydrates to provide energy for active dogs and added B vitamins to help energy metabolism.
With tasty crunchy kibbles, this food is a nutritious option for active and working dogs.

This information is provided as a guide only. Please refer to the product packaging for full details. The feeding quantities are based on the average healthy dog. Individual feeding needs depend on many factors, including weight, age, size, activity level and environment. So, feeding amounts needed may vary and should be adjusted as required to maintain a lean, healthy body and weight.
If you wanted to feed a mixed diets, perhaps wet and dry food, then be sure to alter the feeding quantities accordingly to avoid over-feeding your dog.
Dogs and cats are natural predators so wouldn’t be eating cold food in nature; to improve how tasty the food is for your pet try providing it at room temperature.

This dog food is very appealing to my dog as he is a fussy eater but since having him on Wagg Worker he eats every bit. I feed it dry but it can be fed wet.
Good value for money and you do not have to feed vast quantaties to maintain weight and activity levels.

monthly no-care dog food delivery
by Keira Graham
wagg complete worker beef and vegetable dry mix 17 kg That is what my Ben, the collie and Lucy the golden retriever love, sometimes I add grated cheese, but they eat it greedily without any encouragement.
As for me, well, wouldnt you like from finger-tip to door service, I dont even have to remember to order it. petshop.co.uk deals with all of that, and reminds me when they are about to despatch an order, all I do is open the door when the postman delivers it. Direct debit takes care of the cost. Its cheaper this way too, (I will keep an eye on this!!) It is such a relief to be taken care of like this, I am 75 and have no car, so the convenience of having this heavy food delivered is 2nd to none.
good basic feed
by Alice Murray
A fair quality feed at a good price, makes the base for a maintenance diet for working dogs. The actual meat content isn`t given in specific terms but it does claim to contain a fair spectrum of vitamins. I mix it with a good meat and mineral base to ensure complete needs are met.
Good nutrition, very reasonably priced
by Paisley Knight
I've been using Wagg Worker for many years now with very good results. All my dogs are slim, glossy, fit and very active. It's easily digested and is accepted by all but the fussiest eaters. One word of warning - it does what it says on the bag, and you might find the protein level is too high for more sedentary pooches. It would be like giving the kid's pony racehorse feed!
Dog food for all?
by Julia Thomson
I have 17 dogs, and over the years I have tried several different types. Those I use regularly are the ones that ALL my dogs eat without any hesitation. If it was just about cost, then you would be wrong. I have tried cheaper ones, and some high profile brands. There have been several that some will eat, basically because they will eat anything! Some are more fussy. Indeed, I am more fussy regards what comes out the other end too, to be blunt. Like all good dog owners I pick up what my dogs leave on their walks, so any food that goes through them too quickly and results in sloppy poo, is ditched straightaway. I never had that problem with Wagg Worker. It passes my dog test on all fronts. In fact it is the main food these days. However, I have always been in favour of giving them a variety of dry food, just in case any one is isn't entirely suitable for any one of them. Given my 'family' are springer spaniel/border collie cross, they are an energetic lot. Now they are all adult dogs, I only give them the higher protein food two or three days a week, usually at the weekends. Again, only foods that suit them. If I were promoting Wagg Worker I would not be mentioning rival brands, but among their favourites are; Pascoes Country Gold - no gluten issues with them, thankfully; Burgess Superdog Active; Omega Tasty - note, high protein food not suitable for all; occasionally Beta Active - again, a high protein one and used more when they were younger. Due to a restricted budget there is nothing from the top end, pricewise, but of all the ones I do use, Wagg Worker, in 17kg bags, is definitely very good value for money. Every dog is different, and so will be their digestive system? Which is why I also recommend the variety, rather than as the sole food.
Wagg dog food
by Gianna Mason
Our dogs will (and often do) eat anything - so they don't object to this being about the cheapest complete dog food out there. We split a 1.2Kg tin of 'wet' food between them and top up with the Wagg. Helps it slide down the throat more easily.

We get this on a 'bottomless bowl' subscription deal, so the price is even lower than the supermarket's and we don't have to lug heavy bags around. The delivery driver's the only one not keen on the arrangement.
by Alexander Harper
My dogs love it!I had problems with feeding them other dry proucts because they would not eat it. Even products from purina pro plan. I had to mix everything with wet food for them to eat. But they love everyone of waggs products!
by Gabriel Gill
I have pre ordered this dog food for almost a year. It always comes on time. My dogs love it. It is easy to cancel a months supply if I have too much. A very good price and delivered to the door free of charge.

by Cadence Cole
The 17kg bag of dog food arrived as seller described, it was dispatched quickly and my dogs love it. I have always fed my dogs the Wagg range, it is a quality product and is very good value for money. I have 3 medium sized dogs and they go threw 2x17kg bags a month and as I don't drive it is convenient to have the bags delivered to my door. Highly recommended.

My two greyhounds love this. I have used it for over two years and the dogs are very healthy (according to the vet). I do add some meat to make it a bit more interesting and I add a fish oil capsule each day.

Very good value for money and I have not observed change in my dogs health and condition which is particularly important to me.

Our dog would never eat dry food. This was recommended by my daughter who has used it from puppy to her adult dog. MY DOG LOVED it! price fantastic half the price of supermarkets.!
Best dog food ever
by Adam King
Everyone feeding a dog. My dog cleans his bowl every mealtime and obviously enjoys the taste. He has boundless energy.
by Austin Martin
First time buying, looks very fairly priced as others at this weight cost a lot more. From other reviews sounds good.
by Mason Gibson
This arrived very quickly, but it just didn't seem to be as big as the other 17Kg bag I have bought previously. It does the job well for the dogs, but would like to know whether this was a 15Kg bag instead of the 17Kg bag stated. I would still purchase more of these if I can find them again.
Wagg compleate dog food
by Ethan Mills
Always arrives on time, My dogs love it, infact its only Wagg they will eat. Delivery man, puts it inside of house for me, which is great. Always good price on petshop.co.uk, amd the bottomless bowl subscription can even make it cheaper. And it IS delivered to your door. For someone like myself who is unable to life that weight is a god send.
Big dogs need big bowls of Beef
by Caden Berry
The value is superb, the ingredients are good and the taste must be OK (haven't actually tried it myself though), as the bowls are VERY quickly empty. we have 2 large dogs (GSDs) and a bag lasts about 3 weeks. I have no hesitation in recommending this. they are healthy, active dogs.
by Alex Hughes
Great product, a little pricey but the dog loved it. tries to open the closet and feed his self. Thanks again
