A complete diet to help support the maintenance and growth of all healthy puppies, but unfortunately does not contain the best recipe as it includes unnamed sources of meat and animal derivatives as the main meat ingredient, preservatives and colourants. Although, the diet is still popular with our customers because it is very cheap and easy to feed to your puppy.

Suitable for: Healthy puppies of all breeds as a complete and balanced diet.
Main Ingredient: The main ingredient is cereals - meat is much better as the top ingredient.
Main Meat Source: Meat and animal derivatives (15% chicken in the chicken kibble).
Protein Amount: This diet is 28% protein; enough for puppies as long as it can be digested well.
Product Aim: To maintain general health and support growth into adulthood.
Allergy Benefits: Unknown; does contain some ingredients which commonly cause allergies.
Is it a natural product? No, contains preservatives, but no artificial colours or flavours.
Does it include any additives? Yes, preservatives and colourants etc.
Wind, bad breath, fur & teeth benefits? A healthy coat and skin is aided by omega 3 and 6. Yucca and fibre in the diet help limit wind. Dry food helps ‘clean' the teeth and avoid bad breath.
Can I only feed this one product? Yes, it is complete so there is no need for any other foods - just give fresh clean water in a bowl too.

Wagg Complete Dry Puppy Food is a complete diet for healthy puppies of all breeds, which contains 28% protein. It is made to support a healthly digestive system by added fibre and mannan oligosaccharides (a prebiotic). Also supports your puppy's immune system by added antioxidant vitamins A, E & C and citrus extracts. The main ingredient is cereals - not very digestible for dogs - diets with a meat main ingredient are much healthier. The next biggest ingredient is 'meat and animal derivatives' which means various meats and animal body parts - not the best meat source. The diet contains no artificial colourants or flavours, but does include preservatives. Overall, the diet is complete so has everything your pet needs, but some ingredients may not be digestible enough and the diet does not have a recipe as good as other brands.
How does it keep my dog fit and healthy?
Maintenance and Growth - The diet is complete so it contains all the nutrients your puppy needs for their health and growth.
Skin and Coat - Includes omega 3 and 6 and zinc for a healthy coat and skin.
Digestion - Contains 3% fibre and yucca to help improve digestive health.
Immunity - Vitamins A, E & C and citrus extracts in the food help to develop a healthy immune system.
And, how do I feed it to my dog?
You can just give the food straight to your puppy as it is! However, always follow the feeding guideline to know how much to feed.
So, Is it a good food to buy?
This is a complete food to support your puppy's health and growth. The packaging is open about the ingredients, although they are not the as good as those in other puppy foods. The feeding method is very easy and the product very cheap!
Would it be agreeable with my dog?
Does your dog have bad breath or teeth?
The food is made into small biscuits which helps keep the teeth clean and remove tartar when the dog bites and chews it!
Does your dog have a dull or rough coat?
The diet contains omega 6 and 3 which aid skin and coat nourishment.

This information is provided as a guide only. Please refer to the product packaging for full details. The feeding quantities are based on the average healthy dog. Individual feeding needs depend on many factors, including weight, age, size, activity level and environment. So, feeding amounts needed may vary and should be adjusted as required to maintain a lean, healthy body and weight.
If you wanted to feed a mixed diets, perhaps wet and dry food, then be sure to alter the feeding quantities accordingly to avoid over-feeding your dog.
Dogs and cats are natural predators so wouldn’t be eating cold food in nature; to improve how tasty the food is for your pet try providing it at room temperature.

by Arianna Reid
well I did'nt try it ....but my puppy Dudley is still enjoying it ... and looks for more after he has cleared the dish
by Mia Fox
My dogs love it!I had problems with feeding them other dry proucts because they would not eat it. Even products from purina pro plan. I had to mix everything with wet food for them to eat..
But they love everyone of waggs products!
good dog food
by Lily Rose
Our SBT rescue puppy loves this dog food and it is a very good price. He was on much more expensive brands but he has done well on this, looks as good and has developed normally. The switch over was easy and altogether the RSPCA said he had fragile digestion - we had no problems. Cannot agree with the claim that this food reduces the quality or quantity of dog wind - no improvement there! but otherwise a fine product and reasonable value

Wagg Puppy Food Free From Additives
by Anne Redway
Why pay a small fortune to give your puppy a good start in life. Wagg Puppy Food is free from additives and contains only natural ingredients otherwise I would not use it for my precious hound.
Having been to Discover Dogs at Earls Court in London and spoken to the owners of Wagg, they explained the reason they are able to keep the price low and use good quality ingredients is because they are a small company and have relatively low overheads . I use Wagg Senior for my elderly dogs and it has proved to be an economical yet perfect recipe for them.
I highly recommend Wagg
