New packaging from Royal Canin will not close down

First time to use PetShop. Prompt delivery and package left exactly as requested. PetShop packaging good. Food is more expensive than other outlets. Service from ordering through to delivery is very good. Thank you. However, the new packaging from Royal Canin is problematical. Once open the material of the packaging will not close down. The "old" packaging allowed one to roll the bag down to keep the food fresh. The new packaging does not allow for this.
