PURINA® PROPLAN® VETERINARY DIETS Canine HP Hepatic is a complete veterinary diet for support of liver function in dogs of all ages, including puppies over 14 weeks, with liver insufficiency. PPVD HP contains moderate levels of high quality protein, high levels of essential fatty acids and highly digestible carbohydrates. It also has restricted copper levels to help reduce copper build-up in the liver.

Suitable for puppies from 4 months old. For adult dogs over 70kg: for each additional 5kg of body weight, feed an additional 20g of dry pet food. The recommended period of use is initially up to 6 months for copper reduction in liver and 4 months for chronic liver insuffiiency. It is recommended that advice from a veterinarian be sought before use and before extending the period of use. Water should always be available.

Hepatic Care food

I have tried another brand of hepatic food for my dog, but she was having none of it! This one she has taken to and will eat it without me having to add anything else to it as a bribe.. If you have a fussy eater I'd recommend trying this one first.
