After eighteen months of trying to isolate what my dog was reacting to my vet suggested trying Purina HD. I have to say my dog is a very fussy eater but I have had no problems with getting her to eat the Purina it seems to be highly palatable and with my dog resolved the problem completely, she also managed to gain some weight which was desperately needed and has not had a relapse.

Our vet recommended this food to us as our dog was losing hair from her ears and face from constantly scratching. A week after starting to feed her this food the scratching decreased dramatically and her hair has grown back.

I cant comment on the suitability yet of the product as my dog hasn't been on it long enough to work. We were suggested to try this by my vet who wanted us to try a full 12 weeks hypoallergenic diet to rule out food allergies for my itchy dog. He definitely seems to like it, which is a plus, as it's all he is having for the next 12 weeks. Ordering was easy and delivery was super quick.

I found this product after the vet told us that our dog had dietary requirements . This was the first hypoallergenic food we tried and within weeks his tummy had settled down (we was told it could take 6 weeks or more before seeing any kind of improvement). I would certainly recommend this product

This food has made a huge difference to my allergic labrador.. It was recommended by my vet. I had hoped to switch to a cheaper hypo allergenic food as this is expensive, however when I did, all his symptoms returned. I think it will be cheaper in the long run as it should mean fewer trips to the vet.

Great for dogs with dietary issues. My boy cant eat other foods so service from Pet shop UK is appreciated. Had a code for free express delivery. Food arrived within 3 days of ordering. Would advise checking with your vet before using this food if your dog has issues, but mine has been eating it since he was 18 months old, and is now almost 8

Over 7 years ago our vet recommended we feed Purina HA to our Husky because of his digestive complaint. He has been fed on this ever since. The food is of good quality and is well tolerated by our Husky. It was easy to navigate the website and place my order, which was delivered free of charge and within the time estimated by Vetshop. Great service from the Pet shop UK team. Emailed the team a query about my order which was looked into promptly and had reply with a day or 2. Ordered the food for my dog as he has dietary issues. Have been using this food for my dog for over 5 years due to his condition. Its the only food my dog can eat, so rely on good service to make sure I don't run out. My year old G.S.D has been diagnosed as literally allergic to EVERY food accept Oats! Basically eating would be a death sentence if not for this dog food. Unfortunately it is horrendously expensive at most retail suppliers so I was delighted to find Pet Shop.co.uk do not take advantage of dog owners and have not only supplied the food at a sensible price but gone out of the way to provide an excellent delivery service to regularly help feed my dog. In my case it is not a matter of popping out and grabbing some other food if this delivery did not get here, I cannot give my dog any other food even a crumb of anything else will set up serious problems for weeks after. Was recommended this food by my vet for my last dog (a golden retriever) when he had problems with colitis. This fixed the problem and he thrived on it. He died a few months back and I got a 6-month old furry Exocet missile masquerading as a golden retriever puppy. He is now about to celebrate his first birthday and, now that he is done with the puppy food, I have no hesitation in putting him straight on to PVDHA.

My dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis and food allergies. The vet prescribed this and since changing over my dog has improved noticeably. He has to be on it for a month and then I can challenge him with other foods. This is a very good way to calm you dogs gastro intestinal tract which seems to relieve his discomfort and he is much happier.
