Pro Plan Sensitive Salmon & Rice Dry Puppy Food is a complete and balanced diet for more-sensitive growing puppies, made with 17% salmon for excellent protein and taste. It is specially formulated to help aid your puppy's sensitivity by added omega 3 fatty acids which reduces skin discomfort and also by using limited sources of protein which aren't known to cause discomfort (salmon).
How does it keep my puppy fit and healthy?
Skin and Coat - Provides essential fatty acids for reducing discomfort and aiding a thick and glossy coat.
Digestion - Contains 17% rice and also limited protein sources for good digestibility and to avoid stomach upsets.
Growth - Has the right amounts of protein, calcium and phosphorus to support growth into adulthood.
And, how do I feed it to my puppy?
You can just give the dry food straight to your puppy in a bowl, but for puppies under 3 months it is best to mix in a little water to make the food moist. Always follow the packet feeding guidelines so that you know how much to feed.
So, Is it a good food to buy?
A quality food that can be fed to support your puppy's health and growth. The packaging is honest about the ingredients. Feeding method is incredibly easy and the product is overall well priced.
Would it be agreeable with my puppy?
Does your puppy have bad breath or teeth?
The dry food is made into kibble (small round biscuit like peices) which the puppy bites and chews to eat; when this happens the kibble actually helps to keep the teeth clean and remove tartar! So, if your puppy has bad breath and teeth this could be helped massively by using a dry feed.
Does your puppy have a dull or rough coat?
The diet provides essential omega 3 fatty acids for a thicker and more glossy coat. Also in the diet has plenty of vitamin A for further skin and coat nourishment.
Some puppies have a tendency to itch and scratch more than others. And they may experience more dandruff.
