Dog appears to like it thats the main thing ! And within a reasonable price range its a much better quality product to buy than the Bakers i used to buy but would like there to be less grain in it out of choice but as i say its a better option than a lot out there for the same price !

Attractive price, doesn't taste good

by

Whilst it's cheap, my dog didn't think much of the flavour and it smells a bit

Not good for my dog

by

Didn't help my dog's digestion, he goes to the loo loads!

Okay dog food

by

Meat content isn't particularly high, if want better quality may need to splash out

2 star

by

Gave my dog itchy skin, lots of cereals in this food, good service from petshop though

best dog food ever

by

This is the best dog food. My dog has a 'delicate' stomach and all the other brands I've tried always upset her stomach and give her the runs. This is the only one that doesn't so 10 out of 10 from me (and the dog)

dogs love it

by

This dog food is as good as any of the more expensive ones out there. The dogs love it, I even use it as treats.
We will be sticking with this as even our bulldog with a very sensitive stomach...is OK.
Previously we had to get her a different (very expensive)brand to the others, and she wasnt very keen on it, now she tucks in and enjoys her harringtons.

Good product.

by

Our dog loves this food, we have to be careful what we give him as he's prone to sensitive skin and hot spots some foods cause him to itch! But since eating this he has had no problems at all. Good product.

so far so good.....

by

I have tried several different foods for my greyhound, cheap food leaves him with bad skin, lethargy, gas, you name it! I did use another brand B*****s Sensitive which was also fantastic but i decided to change it solely due to the cost of it. I was already feeding Harringtons Liver treats as they suited my hound's sensitive stomach so when i found their complete food thought id give it a try (especially as the cost was very reasonable). My greyhound eats it in super quick time! He cannot cope with larger size kibble, has trouble chewing it but this kibble is very small so easily digested and, like someone else here has mentioned, it is also great for giving as treats. So far, so good....... :-)))))

recommend Harringtons dog food

by

I never write reviews but I will for such a good brand! Was feeding my 21 week old springer spaniel wagg but I found out for a little bit more £ I could upgrade to such a healthy source and make in Yorkshire! Marley loves it brought a 2kg bag for £3 from supermarket £1.50 per kg can't go wrong! Will certainly be buying big bags!

My dog gives this maximum stars!

by

My 13 year old border collie has for the first time in her life become a finnicky eater - due to some health issues. But it is more important than ever to get her to eat properly and I actually home cook main meals. But I wanted a kibble for breakfast. She's turned down everything else but this one is a winner! Don't know whether it is the formulation or the smaller kibble (her teeth are quite ground down). In fact the kibble is so small, I do worry that she might just throw it down as she enjoys it so much. So I am keeping my eye on this but so far she seems to be crunching.
The packaging has a double skin and I was confident it was really fresh.
Thank you Harringtons and petshop.co.uk.

five stars dog food

by

Great product does what it says - now buying less air freshener

doggy satisfaction

by

Harringtons dog food light weight small kibble. Having given my 4 dogs this now for 3 months it has proven harringtons is everything it say's on the bag!!! (Bag is even recyleable) my dogs are fit, healthy, coats shine like boot polish and normal solid stools! Which also show's this doggy food is EXCELLENT! Another bonus this product is nearly halve the price of a top brand i had been using. Deliverly is super service. Thankyou Harringtons and petshop.co.uk.

brilliant

by

just bought the big bag after weeks of buying the 2kg bags my staff and JRT love this and its a great price for a premium food.

5Great for sensitive tums

by

After having our rottweiler pup allergy tested we found she was allergic to most things (lucky us) after two months on harringtons she is a picture of health, poops still a bit runny but vet said that's prob her for life, have just came across harringtons sensitive treats which will be a great help as it's normally a messy day after training class feeding normal treats, yes it's not dirt cheap but seems to be a better quality food at not much more cost than the cheaper brands, would highly recommend if your dogs have sensitive tummies on another point our elderly border terrier prefered it to her normal food when she picked up a tummy bug which is high praised indeed!!

Doodley-doo likes it!!!

by

Compared with other branded dry-food mixes that I have fed to my dog this mix certainly appears to have considerably more smell, especially when slightly dampened.
As the smell is the crucial factor in enthusing a dog's appetite for feeding, this brand seems to be better than most in achieving this!!
Securely plastic-sack wrapped to maintain freshness.

Ideal dog food

by

My rescue greyhound is flourishing on this lamb and rice diet. Her coat has improved so much since we adopted her at the beginning of April. It is thicker and really glossy, and she is full of energy. What more can you ask.

I found this kibble ideal as my two labs have sensitive stomachs, it was a joy to have no more upset tummys. The added bonus was the price

Cheap and Good Quality Food

by

I use to use James wellbeloved for my dog 3yo German Shepherd.
As I found any thing with poultry would just run out the other end of him.
Been using this for over a year now and well the compliments we get from vets. Is he the correct weight and has an excellent coat.
We use the guide given on the bag for age and weight and stick to it with the occasional treats.
To be-honest if you look at what is in James wellbeloved you will see exactly the same stuff for more than twice the amount.
Personally I think This is a good buy and with most dog foods you have to change what they are eating gradually or you will get problems.

Harringtons dog food

I found this dog food by chance in Tesco's and bought it to try. My dogs love it and its not only full of goodness and no junk but it suits all three really well and does not make them gassy.... boxers can sometimes have delicate stomachs and prone to flatulence but this food is great as none of mine suffer with that. I would highly recommend anyone give this a go as it is really good food and very reasonably priced, plus it actually smells very meaty.

Superb dog food!

by

Superb!
I have two labs and one german shepherd. I've tried a few different dried products but never found one that they were all happy with.
This is by far the best product yet! (All flavours)
All the dogs love it, their coats have never been so soft and shiny. They look beautiful.
There is never any wastage and the price is more than reasonable.
5 well deserved stars!

As good as other leading brands

by

I tried this as a substitute for B***s, which I have been feeding my dog for most of his 8 years, but which I was finding increasingly expensive and harder to afford following a change in my personal circumstances. I wanted to feed my dog a good quality food but at a reasonable price, and spent some time researching the ingredients of various brands. He has been on Harringtons for about a month now, and it may be early days, but I would say so far so good. He enjoys it, it looks very similar to B***s, and he is as fit and healthy as ever. Also it is not full of the c**p and unnecessary ingredients that so many, even so-called "top" brands contain (excluding B***s I have to say, which I believe is GOOD if pricey). So I would say, yes, give it a go, it seems to be decent stuff and it is very reasonably priced.

Natural dog food

by

A keenly priced natural dog food with no artificial ingredients whatsoever. Has worked wonders for our dog's sensitive stomach, makes picking up after the dog possible and far more pleasant.Early days yet but we have already noticed some positive changes in his behaviour, which were most likely caused by food additives.

GREATEST DOG FOOD!!

by

This dog food is great and easily digestible for my Australian Shepherd. She has wheat/gluten allergies and this dog food does not aggravate her skin. Thumbs up to the recipe as she absolutely loves it!!

excellent dog food at a sensible price

by

we changed our dog on to this food about 8 months ago as our usual (premium) brand was becoming too expensive. As far as I can see the ingredients are practically identical and it's also hypoallergenic. Anyway, he loves the food, his coat is still glossy and he has a wet nose! - what more can you ask?
