| 13/7/2015 9:38 AM It Does Work by maureen walker Having adopted two ex breeding farm Bichons from Many tears in Wales, they were already being fed with Burns when I got them. Bichons seem to get weighty very easily and both girls were spayed and my experience of spayed dogs of any breed is that they tend to lose their waistlines, I bred Toy poodles for 20+ years and never had any problems with weight but Bichons are a different story. I eventually put the girls on the High Oats specifically to help keep the weight off...and it works. Both girls now have lost that rather thick waistline look and are generally looking much better, with all the other obvious benefits of more energy and better health.
