Adaptil Calming Collar for Medium-Large Dogs

The Adaptil Collar is easy to use. The dog’s body temperature warms the collar and encourages the diffusion of pheromones into the local environment. It is vital the Adaptil Collar is in close contact with the dog’s skin at all times. Collar is ideal for:

  • Puppy socialisation
  • Travel
  • Kennels
  • Training

Adaptil can also be used under direction from a vet or behaviourist and alongside training to help in the management of clinical behaviour problems such as separation anxiety, noise fear, etc.

Adaptil is not recommended for use in cases of hyperactivity.

How It Works

Adaptil is a synthetic copy of the natural comforting pheromone released by a mother dog to reassure her puppies.

This has been scientifically proven* to not only help puppies but also dogs of all ages with:

  • Help dogs to cope with challenging situations such as: staying in kennels
  • Staying home alone

  • Christmas
  • New baby

Success

After 7 years of pacifying our pet dog on Nov 5th and New years eve, we decided to try the adaptil calming collar. So as not to waste to much money, we are OAP's, we bought 2 out off date collars at £5 each from Petshop. They may have been 2 years out of date but the one we tried worked wonders for our Jack. Never have we seen him so calm over the Xmas period with Idiots setting off fireworks in advance of New Years eve. From a very doubting Thomas, yes, I believe in these collars.

Adaptive collar

Bought this as our little Romanian rescue was demonstrating fear aggression when out and it was impossible to distract her using treats or toys to even begin training as her anxiety was too intense. Within three days of putting the collars on I can get her to sit & watch me (for toys & treats) when other dogs go past and she no longer lunges and barks. She has also almost completely stopped barking when indoors at people passing by or foxes outside at night!!! Brilliant product!!

Works wonders

We have a 16 year old dog who absolutely hates loud noises I.e motor bikes and cars that have noisy exhausts, gun shots, and worst of all thunder and fireworks, so the adaptil collar is a great help in keeping him calm, thankyou .

Adaptil Colar

This product has been a great help for our Border Collie who gets stressed about going for a walk or if there are too many people in the house.

He really is a changed dog.

Amazing effect

I have a little westie/schnoodle cross who shakes, particularly in the evenings. I always know when the collar needs changing as she starts again! We tried everything else but this works!

Calm - oh boy, you bet!

Having hummed and ha-ed over whether this would be an idea for our ageing, separation anxious dog (I'm talking major panic if you leave the room for five minutes!) I am delighted to say that it works like a dream. Not only is he calmer at home, but when we recently went to the V-E-T for blood tests, he sat calmly at my feet waiting when normally he is a quivering wreck. Wow!
