A complete diet to help support maintenance and weight control in all healthy senior dogs (aged 7+), but unfortunately does not contain the best recipe as it includes cereals as the main ingredient, along with unnamed sources of meat and animal derivatives as the main meat ingredient, preservatives and colourants. Although, the diet is still popular with our customers because it is very cheap and easy to feed to your pet.
Feel free to call our pet health specialist for more advice on 01789-205-095
Suitable for: Healthy senior dogs of all breeds as a complete and balanced diet.
Main Ingredient: The main ingredient is cereals - meat is much better as the top ingredient.
Main Meat Source: Meat and animal derivatives (5% chicken in red chunk).
Protein Amount: This diet is 20% protein; enough for senior dogs as long as it can be digested well.
Product Aim: To maintain general health and help weight control and joint care.
Allergy Benefits: Unknown; does contain some ingredients which commonly cause allergies.
Is it a natural product? No, contains preservatives, but no artificial colours or flavours.
Does it include any additives? Yes, preservatives and colourants etc.
Wind, bad breath, fur & teeth benefits? A healthy coat and skin is aided by omega 3 and 6. Yucca and fibre in the diet help limit wind. Dry food helps ‘clean' the teeth and avoid bad breath.
Can I only feed this one product? Yes, it is complete so there is no need for any other foods - just give fresh clean water in a bowl too.

Wagg Senior Complete Dry Dog Food is a complete diet for healthy adult dogs of all breeds, which contains 20% protein. It is made to support joint care in senior dogs by added glucosamine, chondroitin and fish oil. Also supports your aging pet's immune system by added antioxidant vitamins A, E & C and citrus extracts. The main ingredient is cereals - not very digestible for dogs - diets with a meat main ingredient are much healthier. The next biggest ingredient is 'meat and animal derivatives' which means various meats and animal body parts - not the best meat source. The diet contains no artificial colourants or flavours, but does include preservatives. Overall, the diet is complete so has everything your senior dog needs, but some ingredients may not be digestible enough and the diet does not have a recipe as good as other brands.
How does it keep my dog fit and healthy?
Maintenance - The diet is complete so it contains all the nutrients your dog needs for their health.
Skin and Coat - Includes balanced omega 3 and 6 levels and zinc for a healthy coat and skin.
Digestion - Contains 3% fibre and yucca to help improve digestive health.
Immunity - Vitamins A, E & C and citrus extracts in the food help to develop a healthy immune system.
Weight Control - Includes L-carnitine which can help weight control in older, less active dogs.
Joint Care - Added glucosamine, chondroitin and fish oil to help joint health.
And, how do I feed it to my dog?
You can just give the food straight to your pet as it is! However, always follow the feeding guideline to know how much to feed.
So, is it a good food to buy?
This is a complete food to support your dog's health. The packaging is open about the ingredients, although they are not the as good as those in other dog foods. The feeding method is very easy and the product very cheap!
Would it be agreeable with my dog?
Does your dog have bad breath or teeth?
The food is made into small biscuits called kibble which help to keep the teeth clean and remove tartar when the dog bites and chews it!
Does your dog have a dull or rough coat?
The diet contains omega 6 and 3 which aid skin and coat nourishment.
Our senior complete dry dog food contains Glucosamine and Chrondroitin combined with added fish and fish oils to help promote mobile and supple joints in dogs of all ages. It also contains L-carnitine, which may help with weight control in older, less active dogs*.

This information is provided as a guide only. Please refer to the product packaging for full details. The feeding quantities are based on the average healthy dog. Individual feeding needs depend on many factors, including weight, age, size, activity level and environment. So, feeding amounts needed may vary and should be adjusted as required to maintain a lean, healthy body and weight.
If you wanted to feed a mixed diets, perhaps wet and dry food, then be sure to alter the feeding quantities accordingly to avoid over-feeding your dog.
Dogs and cats are natural predators so wouldn’t be eating cold food in nature; to improve how tasty the food is for your pet try providing it at room temperature.

Wagg Senior is absolutely brilliant and has brought a new lease of life to our springer Molly that we have now put our other spaniel Max on it.Brilliant nutrition and gives them a really shiny soft coat.

As this is a product for senior dogs I was disappointed to see that the size of the pieces are quite large for doggies who could have problems with their teeth. I have 3 dogs all between 12 and 15 years two of them being rescue dogs and I have looked after them for 1 and 2 years respectively the older one came with rotten teeth and is too old for treatment the other did have dentist treatment but had to have 10 teeth extracted so he definitely has problems eating this dog food so I have had to get a different one for him. Apart from that I was very pleased with the ordering and delivery service.

Roo is a very big Siberian Malamute, she was a rescue dog from the RSPCA, but a lesser amount of this than other complete dog food seems to satisfy her needs, It has been difficult to find something to suit her not knowing her past history, thanks for the speedy delivery and good service

My Border Collie is 8 1/2 yrs old and I have been feeding him the Wagg Senior for quite some time. He prefers to have a small tin of food mixed in with it so I give slightly less of the wagg to compensate, seems to work for him better.
First class service from PetShopBowl with fast delivery which is much appreciated since I cannot get to the pet store.
Competitive price is always a bonus too.
Thank you team.

We found it really hard to purchase a 15kg bag of Wagg Senior from normal dog food outlets. Our dog is 12 this year so really needs Senior food. We love the fact it is delivered to our door. Thank you.

I feed Wagg Senior to my old dog and my two large-breed young dogs, as I want them to keep their joints healthy. They all eat it very well and seem to enjoy it.

I've used Wagg Worker for quite some time now for my eight dogs. Five Springer's, two Rottweiler's and a Patterale. But one of my big boy's had started to show signs of painful joints and piling on the weight. A vicious circle. So I thought of trying the Wagg Senior. Wow! What a difference. He's now losing weight and exercising more. Enjoying life again. We are so happy that he is getting back to his usual self and avoiding regular trips to the vets. I can't buy this in the shops so buying from it PetShopBowl is great. Exceptional value for money and quick delivery with option of getting free delivery.
I highly recommend Wagg and PetShopBowl.

This company have offered me a service that I cannot get anywhere else. I buy Wagg Senior for my dog which I find difficult to get anywhere else at a reasonable price. I cannot go out to get the product myself so I order online. Delivery is super fast, I order on one day and then in a couple of days I have it.
Would recommend to everyone.

This review is from: Wagg Complete Senior Dry Mix 15 kg (Grocery)
My three elderly dogs have been eating the ordinary Wagg dry food for years so i thought i would give the senior one a try to help their creaking old joints and it certainly seems to have improved their overall condition and their coats are shinning.Great value for money as always and the delivery service was very quick.
