The SureFlap DualScan Microchip Cat Flap gives you the flexibility to set access options for each your cats whilst preventing intruder animals entering your home. The DualScan technology reads a cat's microchip when they enter or leave the house, meaning you can allow certain cats access to the outdoors and keep others inside. Permissions can be changed at any time, ideal if you need to keep your cat inside after a visit to the vet. The cat flap’s safety mode ensures that if an indoor-only pet escapes through an open window, it can get back into the house through the cat flap.
The DualScan Microchip Cat Flap can store up to 32 pet identities in its memory and programming a pet’s identity is quick and easy, requiring just one push of a button. It runs on 4 AA batteries (sold separately), which typically last for up to a year and a low battery indicator light flashes when the batteries need replacing. A four-way manual lock on the front of the cat flap enables you to override the microchip-operated lock.
The DualScan Microchip Cat Flap is a drop-in replacement for many existing cat flaps. It can also be fitted into glass or walls (Separate accessories may be required). Hole cut dimensions: 165mm (W) x 171mm (H). Flap opening dimensions: 142mm (W) x 120mm (H).
