A Labrador view..

Hello my name is Alfie Dog and I have recently had some kidney problems. My Mark and Denise bought me Renal food but I didn't like it much, so instead I have been eating Gastrointestinal which is super tasty, wet and I eat every bit until my bowl is clean. I know they mix a little renal in this but I don't mind so much because I have been making great progress. My stomach is so sensitive and I don't like waking my mark and Denise up in the night to let me out or being sick either, but lately since eating gastrointestinal food I sleep better and I haven't been sick once. Wahoo! I think my coat is still soft and shiny, I'm not having any side effects or issues with my skin and overall I'm a super happy 11 year young labrador. Gimme some paw!!! Oooowwwwww ooww owwwww

Best Dog Food for Sensitive Tummies

by -

My vet recommended the Royal Canin Gastro Intestinal Wet Dog Food because I have two King Charles Cavalier Spaniels with sensitive tummies. I was beside myself when I just could not do anything to help them not to mention when they went out for a potty break!

I just give my two a little bit mixed with the Gastrointestinal Kibble by Royal Canin and it only has to be two tablespoons as it goes a long way does a tin. They jump up and down whilst I am mixing their food together, no more problems now when they go to the toilet at all.

I wondered whether to feed them Raw food but did not like or agree with this type of feeding and to be honest I am glad I did not because I won’t be changing their food now as they are in tip top condition.

Would recommend for any dog with GI sensitivity

My dog has a history of gastrointestinal issues and pancreatitis. She has mainly Royal Canin Low Fat Dry food, but I mix a little of this wet food in with it. Maintains her gut health and she’s in excellent condition. And she likes it!
