Iams Puppy/Junior Large Breed Chicken Dry Dog Food - 12kg By Iams

I have a 12wk old Labrador puppy who has had some health issues which has made her refuse a number of other premium brand dried foods. However she really likes this Iams dried food and it is the main component of all her meals. The food portioning guidance provided on the packet is also very clear and much less confusing than some other brands.

I have been buying Iam's since 2006, my 1st dog had the puppy food for 2 years then went onto the adult for the next 10 years. I got my 2nd dog and so got the puppy food again, what a difference, 1st the size of the kibble is tiny and is no longer absorbent, I tried the adult, this also changed, it smells medicated, I did contact Iams but was told there has never been any changes, this is a lie, I know what my 1st dog had is nothing like this version of puppy food, the kibble used to be bigger and would absorb the warm water and swell and smell like I could eat it myself and perfect for puppy weaning also 1st dog waste was firm black and perfect, now I would say there isn't any charcoal in it as waste is not firm and light in colour, nothing to do with the dog as she is very healthy.

Our dog loves these and they supplement his wet food perfectly and at this price they are exceedingly good value for money. We have this on a bottomless bowl and we always receive advance notice of any upcoming deliveries, so we can pause if not ready and the order is always on time, great service.

Our German Shepherd puppy wasn't doing great on some other generic puppy food and we were recommended to look for a large breed specific food, as soon as we changed to this he actually started to put on weight, stopped having the runs and his coat got really glossy too. Highly recommend this for large breed puppies!!

I used this food since 06 when I got my first pup, she reached almost 12 years so I got another puppy Iams is the only dog food I buy but I was disappointed when I got the food the second time it was nothing like the puppy version I bought in 2006 I wrote to Iams saying I think there is a mix-up but they tried to tell me nothing has ever changed with the product but I know for a fact in 2006 the puppy large breed food was large kibble which I added hot water to and it soaked it up like a sponge and Bessie loved it, but when my first order of large breed puppy food arrived for my second puppy it was small kibble and no matter how long it is soaked in hot water it did not soak up I am disappointed and when I ever have another puppy I will probably try another food
