Harringtons Lamb & Rice Dry Dog Food - 15kg By Harringtons

I run a pet sitting business and have different dogs in on a daily basis, eating a vast variety of different brands. Needless to say I have tried them all on my own two Bassett hounds, most recently on Royal Canin, however following the recommendation from one of my customers who has fed harringtons since it came out I made the switch! Not only is Harringtons around 1/3 of the cost of Royal Canin, my girls are far calmer, look healthy, alert and shiny, plus poo picking is a pleasure now as hardly anything comes out!!! Excellent value for money and the dogs empty their bowls which is a good enough reason for me to continue using it!!

I have been giving my babies Harringtons Turkey and Veggies for the past one and half years and they love it. They are able to digest this food easily, love the taste and they really seem to be more energetic and playful. They will be 9 years old in June! I have told everyone about this brand of food and know my neighbour has changed her sheppard./huskey mix to Harringtons. Cruz now eats and is no longer skin and bones. Much healthier.

My all black German Shepherd - Sooty - has multiple allergies wheat & colours with foods, causing her to have significant skin and ear problems, I have been getting Harrington's lamb and rice from our local ASDA but the supply there has become unpredictable- was upset when i thought i was going to have to look for an alternative. So to petshop.co.uk as usual for anything that i want to find. Since using Harringtons she has improved dramatically - so has her wind, though its still there its not so frequent and doesn't have such a bad smell, the Poops are good and easy to pick up and also don't smell that much a great achievement for dog poop, so her digestion must be a lot more settled. would highly recommend it.

Used this food since it came out WAS great dogs loved it but again it's been changed ,different size now bigger so swells more in water so will in there stomachs beware if you have breeds prone to bloat ,different lighter softer poo tells me the ingredients have also changed absolutely fed up with dog food manufactures constantly changing there foods now again I'm going to have to change the dogs to another food which is no good for the oldies ,back again to researching foods why oh why can't they leave what was so good alone or admit they have changed it even I'm using 10-12 bags a month I think as I do the feeds I can tell ,also no packaging any more so broken bag often didn't matter if wrapped as it always was before

This item arrived almost by return of order. The dogs love it, as yet to try the turkey. The kibble is just the right size for all sizes of the dogs.
Please do not change the recipe as some manufacturers do. An excellent food with a sensible price

This tasty (for dogs!) dog food is highly recommended to all. The food is well made using good quality products, comes is an easily digestible kibble for all size dogs and is offered in a time and money saving 15kg bag. Try it and see.

I have fed my dogs on Harringtons biscuits for some years now and have had no dietry problems.

I have only used the Turkey and Vegetable in the 5kg bags as these have been the only ones available locally. Was pleased to find the different flavoured ones here on petshop.co.uk.

I bought the smaller bags as was not sure my dogs would take to them - no need to have worried - my dogs love them, and there has been no tummy upset.

The 2kg bags are easier to lift and pour than the 5kg ones so I may order these again rather than the bigger bag.

I also bought the Salmon and potato and as I always have four or five 5kg bags in hand it will be nice to ring the changes.

This Dog food is a High Quality Product at an extremely reasonable price. We have a puppy with a sensetive digestion system and this dog food seems to have sorted that problem out.

I have a regular monthly delivery of this dry dog food on bottomless bowl subscription of petshop.co.uk. For my very active labs. The dogs coats are bright, they don't moult so much and their weight is stable. Their regular poos are firm- sorry but doggy people will understand-

Tried this food due to my labrador's repeated ear infections. It has proved to be an excellent choice with a marked improvement in ears / coat and is excellent value for money. My other dog also loves it.

Purchased this product for the second time, had a but of bother with 1st purchase, due to the delivery, but that was sorted. ordered again, and have to say much better. Great product, great price. I have a CSV x NI, and this food is great for her. I prefer to give it to her wet, as she doesn't scoff it down as quick. Happy with this purchase, will be buying again.

Having used Harrington's for years it is the only dog food that agreed with my Scottie dog. Since using Harringtons the improvement in the dogs skin condition is remarkable, no more itching or scrarching. Many Scottie dogs have mild skin allergies which is often caused by a wheat or glutten allergy - try Harrington's it has transformed my dogs well being. . . . and has saved a small fortune in vet bills.

I put my dogs on a "super premium" brand of dog food which did not at all suit them despite a gradual introduction. I saw that Harringtons was from the same company as WAGG, both products (WAGG is the cheaper!) have the same thing in common, NO DERIVATIVES, no unnamed ingredients which is not common in many other brands these days. Would you eat a meat derivative, or perhaps a vegetable derivative? Sawdust is a derivative of vegetable origin! My dogs settled immediately to this brand, no loose stools, and as I always add real meat (not tinned!) to the meal the proportion of meat in the total diet is increased.The Lamb variety has almost four times the named meat product than certain other high street brands The kibble is small which my dogs appreciate. A winner!

My dogs really enjoy this food. One of them has atypical dermatitis and cannot eat certain dog foods. He has had no problems with his skin itching since he has been on Harringtons and also his embarrasing flatulence has practically disappeared!

My two dogs wont eat anything else.

Good value for money

For many years we fed our 6 dogs Eukanuba but the price kept going up and up even the breeders special prices. Saw Harringtons in the local supermarket selling at half price for a 5kg bag so thought we would try it and have not looked back. Its a premium food so you use less and have smaller stools. The dogs enjoy it and they have 3 different recipes. Plus I save so much without loss of quality. Highly recommend.

ive used it a couple of times when Ive run out of raw meat. Its not bad (although I prefer orijen) and one of the best as far as "supermarket" sold food goes

our dog likes it mixed with meat.

I feed all my 6 dogs different food .. I find Harrington's very very good for a Dog with bad digestion system,hence I feed it to one of my shih's it good stuff !!!! :o-)
