INSTRUCTIONS
For oral administration only.
For dogs weighing:
20-35kg = 1 tablet
>35-52.5kg = 1.5 tablets
>52.5-70kg = 2 tablets
How often should I worm my dog?
Research has shown that the majority of dogs in the UK should be wormed monthly, based on their home environment and lifestyle such as scavenging, spending time outdoors off their lead and even access to back gardens.* However, there may be situations where less frequent treatment is required and it’s best to speak to your vet about the most appropriate worming frequency for your dog.

Below is a guide to help assess the most appropriate treatment frequency for your dog:
INGREDIENTS
Each tablet contains 525mg febantel, 175mg pyrantel (equivalent to 504mg pyrantel embonate) and 175mg praziquantel.
Pack size: 1 tablet
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Not for use in dogs weighing less than 7 kg.
Do not use in pregnant dogs during the 1st and 2nd third of pregnancy. A single treatment during the last third of pregnancy or during lactation has been demonstrated safe.
Keep out of sight and reach of children and wash hands after use.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.

What can you say about a worming tablet, It does what it says on the packet. Only gave it 3 stars for the price but then all pet medical products are ridiculously expensive.

Easy tablets to give my dog, he loves the taste. Not had any worms since using the product. Does what it says so very happy. Delay on delivery due to another item ordered delay in receiving stock but I was kept informed through the whole process, so very pleased with overall service.

Both my dogs are senior now and they have been taking the Drontal throughout and I can say they do not like them. I have tried giving them direct but they just spit them out. Plan B came into play and I broke them up and put in their daily food, again they ate their food and left all the Drontal bits. Plan C, was to break them up into a powder and stir in the food, I even mixed their dried food with sardines which they love, but they still detect what I am trying to do but they eventually eat them but with frequent visits to their bowls instead of woofing it down like normal. I little cat and mouse but necessary as if not taken they will be exposed and the Drontal does work well to prevent worms etc.

We got this large tablet into George with judicious use of a meatball. He seemed a little off his food for a day or so but is now back to normal. Not sure if this was as a result of the worming tablet or not. Seemed good value.

Have always used Drontal and our dogs have never had worms or side effects.... however getting them to eat them is a nightmare. They are black labs who will eat ANYTHING ( spring onion, lemon, cucumber) but can spot a drontal tablet at 100yards! Have tried everything - yesterday crushed it mixed with food ( refused to eat it and normally inhales food in 30 secs) then added grated cheese to mask any drontal odour ( wouldn’t touch it!). In desperation added chicken gravy - just turned away from food. Any suggestions??
