We choose Canagans cat food as our cat Luna is allergic to grain. She loves this food and has been eating it for years with no sign of getting tired of it!

Esme, a Hills girl, was extremely impressed with the taste and quality of this new food I got her. She vigorously devours it, savouring the flavour of British free run chickens. Will definitely order more, perhaps one of the other flavours. Although it is a more expensive brand it is worth it knowing that the ingredients are of such high quality.

I've been feeding Luna Canagans since her vet recommended it 7 years ago. We were feeding her a well known, premium dry food, so thought she was on the best stuff. However, she kept getting scabs around her neck from scratching and so I took her to see the vet. He diagnosed a grain intolerance, and so we switched to Canagans. She's never had a problem with it again in the last 7 years. High quality, and she's never turned her nose up at it. I mix a large chicken with a small salmon (and switch that ratio every couple of months) and she loves it as much as she's always done. Highly recommend this if your cat suffers with an allergy. Fast delivery from Petshop too.

Not always for a cat

My wife has a ferret, ferrets, unlike cats and dogs are not equipped to digest cereals but they require taurine in their diets the same as cats do.
Canagan and one or two other high quality cat foods are cereal free have good levels of taurine and other essential ingredients that makes it better than many specific ferret foods.
The other benefit is for a ferret it comes in a small 1 Kg pack, enough to last a ferret quite a while.
